Widget doesn't work

I can't control my lightbulbs through the widget. I have to open the app every time. Would be great if this worked...
Not Intuitive

This was my first smart device set up and it took far more clicks, pages, forms, apps, and registration than one might expect. I’d like to save someone else the trouble by listing a step by step but I honestly am having a trouble reverse engineering the setup. An important step was this app finding the bulbs. Go to the icon at the top right for this. App works smoothly once the bulbs are found.

Really dislike the lack of controlling the on and off times in the Day & Dusk setting. Please add functionality to allow exact on and off times.
App crashes bulb

Just using the app to use the features of the bulb causes the bulb to crash, forget its network, and require the user to set everything back up again.

I just spent the last 3 hours trying to set these up and now I have flashing lights that don’t connect to the app. Stay away.
Latest firmware killed connectivity

V3.40 just killed my connectivity. Not sure what changed, but it went from working great to intermittently connecting/dropping offline.

Terrible. When trying to set up my lights through this app, I experienced so many connectivity issues. I ended up just connecting my lights through the apple homekit app itself. I can still use Siri to turn my lights on and off as well as change the colors, but I am losing out on all the features the Lifx app offers. Super frustrating. Somebody please fix this app.

06.03.18 First review I ever made lol. I just the instructions and install the LIFX app and I’m already in love!! I’ll definitely buy more in the near future!!
