Great Library card for 21st Century!

This is the library card for the 21st century. Most libraries’ ebook or audio book checkouts are clunky, confusing, and with improperly executed UI/UX. This makes check outs so easy and also simple for searching. This has renewed my interest in Library loans. There is still value to the brick and mortar approach to libraries, so in that vein I wish you could get your local library current events info via Libby instead of newsletters or other Ill-streamlined notifications. As it is now Libby is a stand-alone app that links into your library’s digital collection only. Very useful but not great with better connecting to our local libraries and communities. Without doubt Libby’s approach has the opportunity to bring the library into the modern era.

I love this app! The only improvement I can suggest is to include the format (e-book, audiobook, etc) when browsing.

Discovering that I could listen to books from my public library on my phone has been a delight. I had admired subscription services such as Audible but am unable to afford this. Finding the wealth of books that are available to me without charge makes me feel very fortunate. And well-read! The works of many authors accompany me on my way to work or while I iron or wash dishes. Such riches! Thank you, Libby, and our US public systems.

So good to be able to easily get Kindle books from my library. So efficient. I love browsing my library and the hold feature. It’s simply the best.

This is a great app for audiobooks. I like the chapter listing and the counter that tells me how much time is left on the chapter and the whole book. Book marks are good too. The one thing I wish it had that it doesn't is an option to not automatically play the next chapter. It has a 30 minute sleep timer, but will cut you off at an odd time in the story. I want to play one chapter at a time, and then decide if I want to play the next chapter now or later.
Features pretty good. Side menu is more or a ‘chat’.

I love the ease of use to rent books from my library. I like all the features the audio player has. I have now had books returned on the due date before I was finished with them twice now. I’d really like to see a notification that books are due and to renew. Nothing more annoying that being 75% done with a book and then having To wait for it again to finish it. Luckily this time it was a repeat read. Fix your side menu. Organize somethings and make it so I don’t have to click through a setup menu. Everything on one screen would be nice.
