This is a good app. Much better to use on my devices than Overdrive was. Still, it could use better filtering capabilities. But overall, I’m happy with it.

Seamless syncing between devices

I just set up Libby on iPad and synced with iPhone so easily. I only had trouble finding the Set Up Libby command key but the code worked and then within a minute all my books and audiobooks were on my iPad. I love love love Libby! I’ve been using Overdrive since it finally was available for iPad (DRM issues kept it off Apple devices for a few years, I seem to remember). Don’t bother with the Kindle app. Use Libby and support your local library and use the money you save for something else.

I recently rediscovered my local library, and when they told me about Libby, I found it hard to believe. After using it for a couple weeks, I am absolutely floored with how good it is and with its amazing collection! I seriously can’t believe how much they have! I’m almost done with my first audiobook and can’t wait for the next one. And they somehow motivated me to get a Kindle, something I thought I’d never do! And being able to checkout seamlessly from Libby onto my kindle feels like magic. I seriously feel like I’m stealing. I know the service is paid for by my local library, which in turn is funded by my taxes, but I still feel like I should be paying for this service. Such a wonderful system!!

I find this app difficult to use. For instance just choosing a library. It took me awhile before i noticed the subtle list of branches on the bottom of the page i’m sure to get used to it over time, but right now navigating using this app doesn’t feel natural.

There r a lot of great things about Libby in comparison with the original Overdrive. I love it! Except for one thing. With overdrive you could recommend a book if it wasn’t available. With Libby, the book just isn’t there. No other option. Hopefully that will be corrected in future fixes?
