Why can you not put books on your wish list on hold, as you can in overdrive? Why can you not request books for library to purchase? I still need both overdrive and Libby, not very efficient. Why can I not see what page number I am reading? It makes it very hard if I need to refer to previous material and then get back to where I left off.

I absolutely love Libby. And I love that as a California resident I can check out physical items from nearly every library in the state. But it irritates me to no end that in some library systems I can get a card and check out physical items but the library system would have to pay additional money to Libby developers for authorization for an out of region customer to have access to their Libby catalog. Making a distinction between local customers and distant customers is petty and stupid. If I can qualify for a library card I ought to immediately qualify for access to the entire Libby catalog at no additional charge. Libby, you’re being greedy and petty and tarnishing your own reputation. Shame on you!

I grew up loving my public library and spent countless hours browsing the stacks. Unfortunately the library’s hours of operation don’t meet my needs these days. Libby to the rescue! The app is user friendly, always available, and best of all—free!

This is the best. You can send books straight to your kindle if you want or read straight from your tablet and phone. I dont need to go to the library anymore i can just get books straight to my phone!
