Great Library card for 21st Century! – Libby, by OverDrive Review

This is the library card for the 21st century. Most libraries’ ebook or audio book checkouts are clunky, confusing, and with improperly executed UI/UX. This makes check outs so easy and also simple for searching. This has renewed my interest in Library loans. There is still value to the brick and mortar approach to libraries, so in that vein I wish you could get your local library current events info via Libby instead of newsletters or other Ill-streamlined notifications. As it is now Libby is a stand-alone app that links into your library’s digital collection only. Very useful but not great with better connecting to our local libraries and communities. Without doubt Libby’s approach has the opportunity to bring the library into the modern era.
