I am currently shopping for a new luxury SUV and really liked the test drive of the Lexus RX 350. I was confused when told that remote start only worked via the Enform app, not the key fob like every other car on the planet, so thought I’d better see what this app was about. Reading the past FIVE YEARS of BAD REVIEWS for Lexus’ Enform app, the company’s blind refusal to hear customer complaints, safety concerns and utter frustration at a technology that has so clearly failed, and then to see that Lexus has stripped the app “suite” of all useful functions (Pandora, Open Table, etc), I find myself seriously considering buying different car. Why no Apple CarPlay? Wayz? Starbucks, for crying out loud? Why the removal of the few useful integrated apps you DID have? Why does the nav map look like something from the movie War Games circa 1983? Frankly I would be embarrassed to have a passenger in my car and have to log up that loser in front of them. And apparently logging in is something I would need to do WHILE DRIVING on a dangerously frequent basis. I’d love to know which VPs brother-in-law conned the Lexus higher ups into hitching their very pricey wagons to such an apocalyptic failure. What I don’t understand is Lexus continuing to double down on Enform even as it is scaring potential buyers away. Like me. I want to love my driving experience. I want to be thrilled with my new car with all its bells and whistles. Why would I buy a vehicle destined to remind me how outdated, inferior, and neglected it is every time I turn on the radio? No thanks. I’ll go with the Volvo.

I have a 2018 NX. Where is my Apple Car Play update? The 2019 is the same car and has it. Shame on Lexus if they do not upgrade vehicles that can accommodate it. Come in Lexus, do the right thing. Owners, call Lexus and let them know!

The only value to this app was Pandora, and now it’s gone. Poor decision Lexus.

Extremely disappointed in this app! Only works half the time. BMW, Mercedes and Infiniti would never stoop this low.

Beyond aggravating. Keeps me from loving and recommending a Lexus. My husband has a Chevy Silverado and it’s WAY more user friendly with pandora.

They removed Pandora. Selling point for nav system on RX350 removed in an update. Not good.
No Pandora = No Lexus Next Putchase

They took Pandora away. A cheap move. There’s not a sufficient software update available for my 2015 Rx350 to even run a CarPlay app. I’ll look for another manufacturer moving forward who cares about the loyal costumers a lot more. Genesis is looking better everyday.
