An awesome property management app for newbies like me

I was searching for a user friendly property management app that I could use to track my tenants check in and check out in their lease agreement. Also this app gives reminders in 90 days and counting to give written notices to the tenants to see if they will be checking out on time or would like to renew their lease for another year. The basic app allows the user to only list one property, the Landlordy personal edition allows the user to input as many as you want. I am using this app to track mostly the dates of tenants leases and with the ability to input as much data as you want. I inputted all the important info about the property like number of bedrooms and bath, sq footage if available, building name, pets or no pets allowed, no smoking allowed, how many and what keys are given, etc. it took me about 4 days to input about 35-40 rental properties as I just started a property management position from my company. I needed an app that will give me good reminders. The customer service department is one of if not the best I ever used. Their reply to all my questions are answered quickly. I was able to learn a I got stuck on something. The updates will include month to month leases and probably many more neat features. The price is on the costly side for an iTunes app but this Landlordy app has great potential to be really great if not pretty good with some improvements still needed. I tried many landlord apps and wasted my time as it wasn’t what I was looking for. This one is designed to be user friendly which I like and I always save and backup my last data to Dropbox. I use my iPad to mainly input all the tenants data and property information. I then backup data to Dropbox from a section in the app. Real simple to do. Then I use my iPhone and open the Landlordy app and go to restore from backup. Now both my iPad and iPhone have the same information. This way I can carry my information on all the property, owners, tenants, description, contact numbers, email address all on my mobile iPhone. Very similar to another app that I use for my business expenses. I am recommending this app as a must buy even at $44.99 which is a one time fee that will save you on searching for apps just like this. Landlordy Excellent Customer Service is the best and I rate this app as 5 STARS plus. Keep up the great service and I’m looking forward to the updates as they arrive.

Update: Version 2 has some great new features, especially in Reports and tracking. Really great work listening to feedback. I stumbled across Landlordy while searching for a way to track rental property expenses/income. It has all the features I need and the support is fast and concise. One feature that is a huge timesaver for me is importing a receipt from an email directly into Landlordy. These days, everyone sends an invoice by electronic means and this feature removes a hassle and gives me a copy of the receipt stored in the app. Nice! Also very glad there is no monthly subscription fee and I can backup to Dropbox. Again, nice!

Poor service
this app has made my life so much easier. Used to use google doc then Apple number but not after trying this app out. You see a red badge when something needs you attention like rent due or late. Just awesome.
