L.O.W -Changing the Past - bright future for this one!

I have enjoyed the Labyrinth series (each plays as a stand alone and each is unique) and this installment is truly worthy of the series. You are trying to find an agent who has gone rogue - corrupted by his scheming fiancée. What is she up o and can you stop them before disaster strikes? Indicated transporting map even shows collectable items left to find like statues and stained glass pieces. Has many features including using your name on notes addressed to you, a personality quiz to see which period of history you are, match 3 in hop if you choose and many more! No vermin so far, crisp graphics gorgeous artwork and fabulous storyline. Verdict: buy!

If We Travel Back To Our "Past", What Would You "Change?" Not a Thing About This Gem!

What a refreshing change from horror and gore, which seem to be the dominant trends lately. No critters so far. The imagery and graphics are visually beautiful with sharp, crisp, finely detailed, and intricately hand drawn scenes to create a realistic representation of the environment. The colors, on the whole, are darker but contain some vibrant, brighter colors including orange, red, and green in some scenes. I like the concept of time traveling to other realities, worlds, or eras, especially when achieved in a fantastical, imaginary sense. The plot evolves as you travel to several historical time periods with varied, unique settings; each has its own story and objective, which create an impression of mystery and uncertainty. Your character is developed as you experience a web of entanglement and bewilderment through challenges presented in each new environment. Some nice background animations are peppered throughout, such as a plant growing flowers and a cat scurrying about upon touch. I love the incorporation of my name as the main character; it helps me feel immersed within the storyline. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map indicates available actions as well as what locations you can acquire a collectible; however, the indications were inconsistent so I was left to fend for myself at times. Access of the journal is time consuming. It is located through the map and records light story progression; namely, acquired notes. Transition between scenes is a bit delayed at times. The HOS are very creative, fun, and varied; they include word lists and silhouettes with interaction. It's a nice twist on gameplay when you perform an action leading up to an HOS, such as the one where you use the stem of a plant to create a breathing tube for a pond resulting in a word list. The puzzles are varied and very creative as well; some are simple, and others are skill based. You have a nice variety of collections, such as statues, puzzle pieces, and artifacts. Overall, this is a good installment in this series; other than the map issue, I have not encountered any glitches or other issues. So far, very good!

Domini Games has another great game!

Rating: 4 and half stars rounded up to 5 The good: Great, bright and crisp graphics (dark, grainy scenes are my pet peeve). This game has all of the bells and whistles you would expect with multiple types of collectibles (puzzle pieces, artifacts and statuettes). Also custom mode of play, and transportable map which shows where actions are available. When you go to the strategy guide, the game doesn't restart when you close the guide, and takes you right back to the game. Gameplay is pretty smooth. The bad: I docked half a star because the story line is a little old - you're a detective and a coworker is making off with an important artifact. Again. The ugly: Nothing here! Games to look forward to: From Big Fish: - Mystery Case Files: Keys to Ravenhearst (Eipix version, not from BF Studios) - Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst Unlocked (also from Eipix) - Mystery Trackers: Paxton Creek Avengers (from Elephant Games) - Dead Reckoning: the Crescent Case - Sea of Lies: Tide of Treachery From Artifex Mundi: - Grim Legends 3: the Dark City From Absolutist: - Contract with the Devil - Mystery Expedition: Prisoners of Ice (this one looks pretty good - has morphing objects, collectibles despite not being a collectors edition)

The Future is Past!

Labyrinths of the World: Changing the Past reminds me of science fiction stories where you time travel to fix past mistakes. That is exactly your task here, fixing the mistakes left by another time traveler. You travel through the projection of a slide to enter each world. When you have completed your task (for example, eliminating gunpowder from the Romans), you transport back to the present. Each scene contains several puzzle pieces, statuettes of characters, and other collectibles. Some of the Hidden Object puzzles require you to find two or three of the same objects. I am quite pleased with the Hint button, which will take you to a highlighted area on the map if the next move is too far from the present scene. Voices and art work are excellent, and it's a great premise! Enjoy this one!

Loving It!

Beautiful game. Very unique. Lots of items to collect, great artwork and graphics. Interesting hops and mini games. All in all, good experiences.

Excellent game

This is only my 2nd 5-star rating. Great graphics & story line. Puzzles are challenging but directions are clear. Good map & teleportation. Very enjoyable. Worth every penny

Fun

Great graphics & interesting storyline. Interactive map. Map is pretty, if you can imagine. I've been told it even shows collectibles, but that would be awesome. HOP's are different & interesting. My only complaint is my problem & not some people's. I don't like mini-games & this follows what seems to be the latest trend - lots of mini-games & fewer HOP's. I like HOP's especially Match-3 is the alternative for this one. Yay! Over all, I would definitely recommend this one. Enjoy. (Didn't hurt that it was on sale, either. $4 is better than $7 any day.)

Excellent!

I never write reviews but this is such a great game! Many different things to look for in each scene, plus beautiful graphics. This is the first game, in a long time, that I have loved the story. I like mini games and HOPs but this kept my interest. Worth every penny!

Note to the DTE and all reviewers: I have been in close contact with the development team at Five-BN UK, who has given us fabulous and 5 star games. They are really pleased with our review team and have told me we will be getting the 3rd New York Mysteries for iPad soon. They are wonderful folks and if you haven't played their games, let me say they give you EVERYTHING you want in a game, including a trial, a great price, length, gorgeous graphics, teleport maps, and fun HO scenes and a wide variety of puzzles. Their gameplay is flawless, so definitely check them out. On to the game. You could customize settings. The graphics were magnificent and the cut-scenes very electrifying. The story was easy to follow, which since there is no real journal was a good thing. Collectibles included stained glass puzzle pieces, statuettes and artifacts. Inventory was interactive and labeled and there were plus items to assemble. There was a marked, if so customized, teleport map to transport you. The HO scenes were a bit boring but you did have the option to play match-3. There was a decent variety of puzzles and games and at least they weren't all rotational. You got to use a magic slide projector to transport you through portals to different eras, as well as a magical amulet and in the bonus adventure, a cute robot helper. Also thank you, Domini, for not inflicting RATS on me! I deducted a star because I felt the game was quite short and also because loading was not instantaneous between locations, but it wasn't interminable either. The game ran smoothly without glitches and it was a good solid game. I would definitely play a sequel but it needs to be longer and have instantaneous load! Lynxie sends ?❤️? to KimTwilight, Dracyy and the rest of the team! Thanks for having my back!

It started off great but now just terrible!!
Missemericanpie

I read reviews so I bought game. It started of great but then got real sloooooowwwww and clunky.. I re-downloaded(message said you already bought so we will down load for free... Duh!) now it is slow and annoying..each book has gotten worse! Probably won't finish and will write iTunes...good luck with the refund!!! I also have experienced games that I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR saying I did not purchase.. I wrote iTunes..no response.... This is terrible!! Between BF AND ITUNES THEY ARE STEALING MONEY FROM US CONSUMERS... What can we do? Really not sure but I think I will contact the BBB to report both...so sad that multi billionaires get away with treating John Q. Public so terribly!!! I would never... I think the people who wrote reviews must be employees of BF... SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
