We like La Quinta and recently download the app. When I tried to make a reservation using the app, I was unable to continue past “Guest Info” due to an unusual character in my name. I have a dash in my first name and the app highlighted my first name in red with “Please provide valid information in each highlighted field below.” My first name is highlighted in red but it is also grayed out so I’m unable to edit. I went back to “Edit Profile” as well to try and see if I can change the name by eliminating the dash but I was unable to do so. I do not have this issue using the website reservation but I would love to have the same access using the app. I hope your development team can modify the app or provide a good solution to this issue. Thank you.
Bad to worse

This is the most frustrating app. Very bad when you are driving at night and passenger can’t log in. Wrong password, email, member number, name (I do know my name) every time. Fix this or we’re going to another hotel (Hampton Inn). I give up.

I can't even login. It keeps saying wrong email, name or password. I reset the password thinking that was what the problem was but still not able to sign in. It doesn't work on the app or the website.

App Check In

Yesterday I got an email saying that I can now check in through the app. Can’t find how to do a check in anywhere. ??
App doesn’t work properly. Bugs!!

This app doesn’t work well. When you try to add a second line for your address the app does not accept it into the appropriate field. Needless to say. All the mail that La Quinta sends does not make it to the address. So the company is wasting money. If you go online you can edit your profile. Just don’t do it on the app. Developers need to test it better.

I didn’t want to download it because of all the bad reviews. However, they’re from a year or more ago so I gave it chance. It’s super easy to navigate in. I can login search book/cancel reservations.
False advertising

La Quinta do not honor their adds. They ran an ad stating for every two nights, you got a free night. So if you stayed three times you only got one free night. And the app does not work.
Frustrating

This app is useless. Easier to call the 800 # and grind your teeth listening to the non-personal automated bot compared to wrestling with this..Too bad as LQ has some really nice properties / accommodations...but it’s not always worth the hassle.
