Can no longer sign in

Since the last update I can no longer sign in. The screen simply flickers and nothing happens.

ETA: It's real simple. If I get on the login screen and see that there is no facility for saving my login info, I shut down the app and go elsewhere to book my hotel; and it will be a competing brand. If you don't care any more than this then you lose my business. This looks like something a high school student might put together the night before it was due. Go run IHGs app and see what a PROFESSIONAL application interface looks like. The fact that you don't even retain the user id / email address for logon illustrates an amateurish approach to iPhone development. It's like you really don't care; just want to check the "got an iPhone app" checkbox. Fix the login for short term but for long term scrap this thing and start over.

As a frequent La Quinta visitor (we have dogs), I used the old app to make reservations a lot. But THIS stinking pile of excrement is almost impossible to use. How do you make advance reservations? Instead, it has a stupid Hold the Room feature, but only for the current day. I now find the hotel and call directly to book. Whoever the genius was that designed this should find a new career to better suit his, ahem, unique intellect.
What's the point?

I was having trouble using my rewards to book a room using the app and called La Quinta's main help line. I literally was told that the app is nearly impossible to use to do this from a tablet or phone. What's the point of having an app that you can use it?
Why release this without testing it?

I need the app for work to book hotels for my crews. I can't even login at all on my 6s. The version before at least worked. Learn to use TestFlight and actually test an app before releasing new version that don't even work.

After upgrading my phone and being excited to use this app. Failure. Does not work on iPhone 6s. Extremely upset.

I use this app a lot for booking Laquita stays for work, but as of recently it's been very buggy. I believe it needs to be updated to ios10 to fix a lot of the current problems it's having.

I'm using this app for a while now and works great for me. Now I don't have to login every time I launch the app and it's really easy to find hotels on the go

I used to use the La Quinta app to book rooms. Now when trying to use points to book a room (from the airport) the app freezes and does nothing. I had to call my husband to use a computer to book the room. Very buggy
