Great Update For A Great App ??

policarpo

Thanks for the great update today. Loving the Sample import and Ableton Project Export. I truly love this app and anything else you add to it is just bonus. As far as what I’d like to see in the future is the following: . Serum wavetable import support . Basic sound editor for Drum Samples to specify Start/End ADSR on drum pads . Multiple effects per channel like in Gadget . Better per channel midi support so i can manipulate Cutoff on per channel basis instead of globally as it is now when connected to external device (per channel Midi Learn i guess ??) Anyhoo. Loving this update. Great work team??™️

Yay! Sample import!

My only major complaint before was lack of sample import. Thanks for addressing that one, Korg! All ya need to do now is improve the song mode and it’s perfect. Even without that, I’m in for five stars. Great work!

I’m quite impressed....

I have to say, from reading all the reviews, I was expecting much worse. But now that I got it on sale for $20, it’s quite worth it. It’s on the same level as Groove Rider, but they’re both special in their own way. This app is deep, and I mean deep. The sound editing can go for hours, but you won’t be bored like with other apps (gadget, beat maker and such). It’s not perfect, but nothing in life is. It’s a step in the right direction, but the price is little steep, get it on sale while you still can. I’m a fan of first hardware electribes and this one definitely got that feel. One small improvement that I would like to see is muting tracks, should be done with one hand (holding that mute button is so annoying, even on hardware I thought it was so stupid). Why can’t you just hit the mute button once and be in mute mode, what’s the point of holding it all the time? I don’t get it. I’ve had it for an hour and I’m very impressed. Another suggestion, it would be great for users to share their presets, similar to what KRFT is doing, that way this app could go for ever. It’s still great and it got tons of presets already, but just a thought. Maybe different color schemes, too. Just some minor tweaks. Anyways, this is more fun than Gadget, go get it while the price is still right. Chose this over iElectribe and I’m glad I did, it’s like IElectribe on steroids. 10/10. Great app...

A few glaring issues...

Fretless33

I love Korg apps...they are some of the best available. With that being said Electribe Wave is no exception. The sound banks are limited even after purchasing both sound packs, but the option to create your own sounds is limitless...I can live with that. However, where it falls apart is when you attempt to record. You choose a blank pattern, yet it’s not truly blank. There is a bass drum and a synth hit on the 1 count, so if you change the sound in that bank it will be a 1 count if whatever synth you chose. To avoid this you either avoid recording on the 1st bank or delete the 1 count sound...how lame and inconvenient. A good solution would be having the metronome being able to initialize the count...to be able to turn it on and off like nearly every music app on the market does. Second, it took me nearly 5 minutes to set the metronome to 140 BPM...go ahead...try it for yourself! It’s like playing a number game...in the iPhone the display is so small that you either grab the number after the decimal mark making it .5 or .whatevernumberitlandson or you get every BPM except the one you are going for. I tried the tap function, but it’s so small that you can’t consistently tap on the little button...I know...it’s an iPhone, but that’s all I have for recording right now. Being able to tap on the number display and manually add the number with the keypad would be great solution! Also...I can’t find an undo function...perhaps it’s buried, but I seriously can’t find it. This app has a lot of amazing potential, but it just needs a bit of refinement out.

Thank you for listening to the users.

Can you please add full dropbox import/export support. thank you.

How can the people who did gadget create a turkey like this? Part two ..

Aka monkey dope

Horrible interface. Horrible sequencer. Horrible synth engine. And like some other Korg apps doesn’t open in gadget. This lay out is cryptic and isn’t laid out in a logical or fun way at all. The pastel colors and hoop jumping requires so much fiddling it’s a total buzz kill . I deleted it. The original is much more useful..?CHRISTO

Background battery consumption issues

robisabel

Great app but it has been running in the background and consuming my battery aggressively. My new iPhone XS Max was hot this morning and the battery dropped 14% in 30 minutes while locked, hadn’t used this app in days. Running latest version of the app and iOS.

Lots of fun with this app!

djresonator

The layout is very fluid. So it makes it easy to stay focused and creative. The dark colored GUI is great for long sessions without experiencing eye fatigue. The synth sounds great. You can really get a lot out of it. But it would be nice to have more waveforms to work with. The drum sounds are the weak point of this app. They’re OK. But it’s rather limited in the selection of samples. This app would get 5 stars if they add the ability to import your own drum samples. UPDATE: My request for importing samples was granted and the waveforms in the IAPs are definitely worth having. Thanks for the free samples as well. Bouncing synth and drum parts to iTunes file sharing is a quick way to resample and add more effects. Kudos on that!

Put out the PPG wavetables Expansion pack please. That’s my request, for this or to incorporate in Gadget. ????????

I have to pay again to download to iPad?

Dj Producer Justin Thomas

I have all your apps and I am a big Korg fan but why do I have to pay twice?
