Simple, intuitive, and yet very powerful. Everything you need, nothing you don’t want. I have a Korg Microsampler. This thing reminds me of it. I also had a PO-33. The instant effects remind me of that. The mic effects are a GREAT touch. Particularly the bass synth effect is handy for turning your voice into slurred synth lines. Great job. Absolutely terrific.

It’s like having a sp-404 in your pocket. The UI is such that when you go to do something, it is done in a way that comes naturally without having to think about it, such press for duration of record and drag and drop to duplicate. The features and limitations are in perfect balance to foster creativity whether quickly getting ideas down or doing something more sculpted and spending a little time making. Dev seems responsive and involved. One of my most used music apps as of late, def recommend especially for the price.

I ❤️ Koala Sampler’s layout, features, and ease of use. My request is for landscape mode be made available for iPad. I use a Focusrite iPad dock and portrait mode isn’t practical in terms of workflow going from App to app. The second request is to be able to easily transfer songs & sample set-ups from iPhone to iPad. Maybe via iCloud? That way the iPhone can be used as a Field Sampler, & the iPad can be used, with it’s more ergonomically friendly size, for further song & soundscape production. Seriously, Landscape mode would make this incredible work-flow wise if it were an option. Thank you

I can't say enough great things about this app. The developer definitely has a passion in this. As if I didn't love it initially, every update is something great. Now there's additional effects! I just sample whatever in real time, like my washing machine or stuff at a grocery store or whatever, and instantly I can sketch out some amazing loops and pieces to utilize further in a daw or other apps, or a hardware sampler. This is worth the price and in my top 5 apps I must have

I love this app! Hours of sampling fun! It reminds me of sampling on my old SP-404 but the workflow is much faster. The mic and performance effects are terrific! I just wish the performance effects had a “fall off” option so the change isn’t so abrupt when releasing them. Either way, this app is worth every penny (and more)!
