Koala is excellent! The price is great! If any updates do come to add features, I have these requests... Truncate/trim & more nice effects! This is a great starting point for creative sampling! Beginning samplists may jump right into making music quickly for a bargain! 5 stars

This is such a dope app, I have used this solely for the past 3 weeks and can’t put it down. Mind you I have ableton 10 live with a mpd32 from akai and this is still my go to. Sampling has never been so easy.

In the sequence tab where we bring up your keyboard, can we have the ability to long hold each sound so it loops and doesn’t abruptly end? If that is already a possibility i’m sorry I didn’t look better.

Koala is so good for me because of two factors, being fun and being simple. I was hesitant and first to buy this app because over the years I have collected a large amount of computer software, instruments, and hardware samplers to make beats with. So for me I was like “why would I need this? I already have everything!” But my favorite beat maker posted a video using it so I gave it a try and wow. I loved it. koala was designed to be intuitive and easy to use but still very powerful. In a age of complicated, extremely powerful beat making computer programs and Phone apps. A lot of my time is spent just tweaking on small details to make my song “perfect” which takes away from the natural fun flow of making music. Koala gives that back to me. Is it worth the few $$$? Yes. I have music hardware that costs $1200 dollars and this app is more fun and easy to use. I love it!

This app is amazing. It’s a great sampler, has great effects for resampling, cool dj effects for performing and let’s you easily save songs and individual sounds. Obviously not gonna replace the feel of say an sp404 but gives a lot of the functionality and you basically always have your phone so you should get it so you have it. Then you can make music anywhere. Stay sharp.

I never write reviews. But this app is totally imperative for me. I use it constantly and it fits into every project I work on. It’s just that great. Also, each update it gets better and better! Thanks for the attack and decay! Perhaps parameter cut offs one day?? I don’t only use this on an iOS device (with AUM) But I’ve also found ways to integrate it with my hardware as well (irg + midi linkSync + Ableton link.) The sp303 was the first sampler I owned and sadly the pads and connectors have died...so I am really grateful this app exists. Don’t front on this one...I’ve seen a few respected beat makers throw this one into the mix....
