Fantastic game with some good and bad choices

I have been a huge fan of kingdom hearts since the first game came out when I was around 12. I have been playing KHUX since it came out with 383 days played currently. I love “Almost” everything about this game... I will admit I have spent real money at times on the VIP special, but for the most part I have been able to keep up with the flow of the game and complete everything without needing to spend real money. This game didn’t start out as a pay to win game and I wouldn’t quite classify it that way now though at times it can feel that way. They do a good job of updating everything in a timely manner and there is always something to do, whether it be the main story, events, special quests, coliseum, or union cross. They have daily and weekly quests for you to save up jewels and completing the story quests also give you more than a fair amount. My main complaint is that the game seems to be heading in the wrong direction. Right now there isn’t a single “event” I can complete because it requires you to have completed the “proud mode” quests to receive the key-blades required for the event. It is frustrating because it seems like these types of events are only tailored to the “hardcore” style players and the players who are willing to shell out enough cash every time a new banner drops. As a father, full-time student and worker I just don’t have the time to invest in keeping up. Not only that but it prevents beginners and casual players who love the game from being able to participate and get the rewards to keep up with the flow of the game. Basically it seems to keep the top tier players at the top and prevent those who can’t spend the time or money from ever getting close. If it’s money they’re after I don’t even blame them, I just know personally when I’m happier with the game, I’m willing to spend money from time to time. When I’m not happy with it, I’m not gonna spend a dime. It’s not enough to just dangle the shiny new toy over my head. I just hope something changes because I still really want to love this game.

The game mechanics, story, art, and gameplay is all good. If you don’t mind waiting at least an hour to download who knows what. I personally hate when developers release a game on the App Store that says something like 80MB to download initially. But what you are expecting is at least 2GB to download everything AFTER you’ve already played the tutorial. This game would be great, if people could play it from the start.

This update is bs. Why I cant access my data? The game wants me to log in on my fb or start new? I played for long time now and this is frustrating. Wth my information should be in game central. :(

Kingdom of hearts was my favorite game growing up I started playing on PlayStation so now that I have it on my phone now it makes me feel like a kid again! ❤️ other than a few update problems like when It says theirs a new update but it’s not showing in my updates section that’s the only problems I ever had other than that the game is fantastic ❤️

Until you did an update that made me lose ALL my progress because I didn't connect the first version to Facebook. B_llsh¡+, I don't even want to play anymore. Furthermore, it's repetitive and gets boring easily unless you pay for every little thing. Was tolerable, but since the update, I'm out!

It has its ups and downs; draw rates can be cruel, but overall I love this game. The story is great, and it’s really neat how they incorporated this game into the lore (I think back when it was Unchained X, it was supposed to be completely separate from the main story). Anywho, I wanted to write this because of a game glitch I’m dealing with but didn’t know how to report. I submitted it regarding missing medals and left a message saying that I’m not actually missing medals, they just don’t show up when I try to equips them. It’s really annoying, and I would like that to get fixed but don’t know how. They thought I was asking to replace medals I lost and didn’t seem to have read my message. I guess these sorts of things don’t get rerouted. It’s not about the medals, its my inability to use them. Will be contacting again as a general message.

I love the KH series and this was no exception until the game started to favor those that pay for it. There is barely any content for those that don’t pay. Really wish they didn’t ruin the game for me
