Overall it’s a great game

Gaymer250

Been playin since release. I love how customizable your character is and the little things that add up to make your character stronger. However any advances made in game via a new medal are short lived due to the next best thing coming in each week.i am a top tier player and unless you are putting at least 20 bucks a week in this you probably won’t enjoy the competitive aspect of it. Money is all powerful in this game. The pulls are very risky for veteran players and you could very well pull from the 25$ banner and get very little for your money. This is circumstantial though... spend your money wisely because they know how to make flashy and appealing if anything. My number one issue with the game is the fact that Japan always gets amazing deals in comparison to North America and the disparagement is angering considering the loyalty and money put into this game.

Amazing, but gets boring

Deedelbop

This game is amazing, but it gets boring because it’s the same thing for every story. You just kill monsters, collect medals and get Disney clothes. I deleted it because off this, but I am thinking of getting it back. I hope this review helps people to decide to get it or not to get it.

Surprisingly fun

Monstevr

The story is nonsense, and doesn’t even start for the first SEVERAL HUNDRED MISSIONS AT LEAST, but it’s Kingdom Hearts and absolutely zero story is what keeps the alt-right coming back for more. Also, the dolly-dress-up is really top-notch. The medal-leveling system is kind of tiresome, but I’m not a fan of feeding cards to each other or having all my moves based on items the replenish each round and have only a tenuous, unjustified connection to the story and the world. Even with that irremovable stain on the whole game, battles are still somehow fun and satisfying?! Gosh, Kingdom Hearts is weird: all the effort and skill devoted to successfully making so many dumb ideas seem palatable could have probably cured every terminal illness and the energy crisis if they had been directed differently! One suggestion: now that you’ve bared your pixel-art-accessory fangs, I’m really hoping for an Interceptor (Final Fantasy VI) skin for my spirit pet thing. That’s a little bit of free advice! Some fool (me?!) will spend gems on that little monstrosity!

My awesome app

Shelly 111

I love this app, and game

Another example of when greed rules the world.

Just when you think you have the ability to beat most quests, they throw something at you with over 5000 health bars, something normal people can never beat. Ex medals cost a fortune. Game should be shut down.

One minor bug

Pisses off from Alabama

This game is awesome! Can’t stop playing it. The only problem I have is level 92. For some reason I have defeated every single enemy in 1 turn per the guidelines of the level and it still isn’t giving me 3 stars. Please help me fix that!

iPhone X

TV go app is better

The game could use more of the available screen space on the iPhone X.

Perfect for RPG Lovers

Trini619

In RPGS like Dragon Age (my favorite) you spend a lot of time organizing your inventory—weapons, armor, accessories—to make sure you’re functioning at your best every time you head out. If you’re a fan of those games this one is for you! Leveling is quick and easy. The app is completely free to play—the only things I’ve seen that you can spend money on is the many different kinds of currency (but the app provides you with enough regardless) and access to the daily events all week. The option to create/join parties within your union is great, although I wish there were more opportunity to team up with them or more social options. Overall, I enjoy returning to this app.

Remember when SquareEnix used to make good, quality games?

ThirdPrinceofAngels

They hope you do. Otherwise they couldn’t capitalize on your nostalgia with the outrageously expensive, exclusively pay-to-win garbage they make now. KH3 and the FF7 remake are going to be just as disappointing as any money you spend on this game. SquareEnix doesn’t sell real games anymore; only disappointment. And “KHUX,” SquareEnix? REALLY? Did nobody sound this out before releasing the English version, or is that just how you think of anybody dumb enough to money into this - that we’re all “KHUX?”

An enjoyable but very flawed experience

VeryAddictedGamer

This is a game I was excited for when it first came out, and at the time I was happy with it. But now, despite all the added content, the game is very flawed. The core gameplay is fun, if you’ve ever played kingdom hearts chain of memories, it’s like a revamped version of that. You are given a small handful of medals, each themed after a different Disney character or kingdom hearts character. Each one can be used to attack, or you can spend your special gauge to use the medals special attack. The combat is fun but very easy. The game has hundreds of quests and loads of content. The current level cap is 500 and you can power level to 300 no problem, but once you get to that the amount of lux (exp) needed to level up gets absolutely insane. This is a free game so of course it has micro transactions! The micro transactions are wildly overpriced and don’t give you enough medals to be worth it. However the game supplies you with several ways to get medals for free. As for story, for the first 100 quests there is none, just bland quests to different Disney worlds. As the game progresses the story does get very interesting and ties into the main plot of the KH series very well. The power your able to reach early on makes each quest very easy and makes getting to the games good parts bland and boring, leveling is extremely slow past 300, and the story is interesting isn’t revealed until around quest 100, the constant grind for more medals is tedious. Yet despite all these flaws this game is extremely addicting and fun despite its flaws. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun base game and a interesting story if you can power through the beginning. 3/5
