Dr. Accepted

dmshine

Went to my cardiologist yesterday and found that they really accept the results from this small device. My doctor took my phone and seriously scrolled through my history and was better able to see what was going on.

The best in its category.

This is the precursor of the medical field innovations that bring into your home a quick and powerful diagnosis of your heart and it’s functions. As one of the early adopters I can only say that my faith in this Kardia working, was not mislaid. Kardia diagnosed me suddenly with a dangerous Atrial Fibrillation caused upon by the addition of an injection issued to “supposedly” keep my diabetes under better control. My specialist doctor who prescribed me the treatment for diabetes was “sceptical” because of the “Kardia” test and did nothing for 3 months during which time I had regular periodic fibrillations until I was scheduled for my cardiologist for my ongoing treatment of blood pressure checkup who took an ecg test and confirmed the fibrillation and started a medication course that possibly saved my life. I heartily recommend this to anyone over the watch band and with the new incoming introduction of the new Kardia which will be able to take 6 lead tests leading the way for a better future for people to be better aware and take care of themselves. Lastly, I paid for all devices that I gifted to friends and needy people and the one that I use myself and no inputs what so ever from the Kardia team or management and this is my own review prompted after almost 3 years of use and MUCH before its prominence thanks to Apple recognizing medical research in homes as the future.

Heart Information Station

My Kardia shows me just what my heart is doing as if I was at my doctor getting an EKG. I have had AFIB for 4 years and it is a great help to be able to take copies of my heart readings to show my doctor when I visit. This device is a must have if you have any heart issues.

Fabulous device

I have or had AFib. Very good diagnosis which helped me manage the electrophoresis. I had near fainting spells but doctors did not diagnose them. I captured one on a Kardia recording it turned out I had no heart activity 4 seconds. I had a pacemaker put in based on this analysis. WOW!!!!!!!

Great system

Accurate readings and peace of mind knowing if you are in normal rhythm. Convenient to use anywhere. Cost effective. Love the download feature so you can show PDFs of readings to my doctor.

Great piece of mind.

Nice to know everything is working right.

Can’t export EKG to Health app. Useless.

I bought the new KardiaMobile 6L to have a 6 lead EKG I could add to my health history like my Apple Watch 2 lead ECG. Well it turns out, the only thing this app adds to Apple Health is your heart rate. THAT’S IT. No graphs or other heart data. I returned the device immediately. Garbage.

Used to be great, company LIES

The heart rate monitor was amazing and the only feature worth $10 a month. It really helped me. Unfortunately the company decided to discontinue it and lie to customers by placing the blame on Apple. Apple did not make changes to the Apple Watch to stop the functionality... Kardia removed it with the July 2019 update. I will no longer recommend or support this company.

Wonderful Assistant!

Grateful Liz

Excellent reminders, peace of mind and awareness that are easy and appreciated!

Poor support

Worked for about a year, then the wristband simply stopped performing ECGs. Wrote for support, received the usual “restart/reset everything” advice. No luck and no further support. Now that Apple Watch can do the same...why does this exist? Sorry they got run over by Apple but less sorry than I would be if they had bothered to be a better service.
