This machine lets me know when I’m in AFib and should see the Doctor ,he relies on this device report . He has checked this device to his EKG for being accurate .

I have parxysmal afib after replacement surgery for 2 heart valves. I could not detect when I was having an episode if my heart rate was less than about 120. My cardiologist suggested I get the Kardia device to keep better track of my afib status. I have now had the 6 lead Kardia for over 4 months and it has been a huge help in clarifying my afib episodes to both me and my Doctor.

The Doctor ordered ekg for a week and with insurance it was around $500. I got the Kardia and I bring in the results each appointment. Saves a bunch of money.

Great app offers piece of mind about your most precious organ. As good as it gets out there. Cannot wait until Apple buys them and they explode as part of Apple health. If you have a fib like me you need this. My cardio Dr himself recommended it to me.

EKG is helpful at detecting PACs and PVCs but often shows ST-T wave changes that are not seen on resting 12 lead EKG.
