Low pulse

My husband bought this for me when my pulse rate fell to 30, but I had to have a pacemaker and this doesn’t really work.

Thanks

Readings are accurate. Easy to use, convenient and provides reliable information.

You are so afraid to render an opinion/dx that for the average person this tracing is worthless. As a multi year ICU nurse I can read my own.

Literally saved my life!

SecondMile

I first began using the Kardia monitor in January 2019 because I was having very occasional moments of slight lightheadedness, almost unnoticeable. I was a little concerned because my mother had a stroke at about my age, and I was already on blood pressure medication. Even though I was feeling fine, I got the Kardia monitor and began using it occasionally. I was getting normal readings, so that put my mind at ease. Then one day it alerted me that I had Bradychardia (slow heart rate) and few days later “Possible Afib”. At the same time , my lightheaded spells began to occur more frequently, so I began to take my EKG on a more regular basis. I started to notice skipped heartbeats on readings labeled “unclassified “ and could also see a correlation between the skipped beats and my lightheaded moments. One day I had a long pause between beats that covered the width of my phone, so I made an appointment with my cardiologist. He put me on a heart monitor for 7 days, and the first night I wore it, I had a call in the middle of the night. My heart was pausing for as long as 8 seconds and my heart rate had dropped to 20. They told me to go to the ER immediately, because I had a very serious problem. I had to have a pacemaker implanted in my heart that same day. During those months leading up to that day and even when I walked into the ER, I felt fine. But I could have died in my sleep at any time if that little Kardia monitor had not alerted me that I had a problem. My cardiologist even said that little device saved my life because without it, I wouldn’t have known anything was wrong until it was too late. I am so grateful for this wonderful technology!

Great system

Very helpful in tracking my progress in eliminating my AFIB. Very reassuring in showing that the AFIB has not come back.

Great app, was told Apple is removing the app from Watch

MuzicLuvr13

This is an excellent well thought out app and device. Works much better for me than the Apple Watch app that’s built in. I got an email from AliveCor that Apple is not supporting the app soon and hope that’s false. Until the Health app is as robust as the Kardia app with History, faxing MDs info, etc., that’s a loss, if they remove it.

DO NOT BUY-update

From Terms of Service, “You irrevocably and forever waive any rights you may have regarding your User Content being altered or manipulated in any way that may be objectionable to you. You must accept this when logging in via the internet. At first you could be somewhat anonymous. No more. They DEMAND access to microphone. They DEMAND PII personal ID information. They make every effort to collect data on you including meds. PB. And more. Just check the news on Facebook and GOOGLE privacy violations before you consider this app because I have to believe they run under radar to sell info to the likes of these companies. Follow up. Kardia responded and clearly stated they do not sell data. Neither did Facebook, until they were caught. They said microphone was for inaudible signal transmission. Funny, some time ago, I used the EKG monitor with microphone off and it worked fine. My Kardia pad did not change, so I view this as suspicious response. And now when I try to check heart rythm it let me do it once then said it is sending to pro for review - and I cannot repeat the EKG test or see the results. It is useless. I spent $99 on the Kardia Mobile and now the app does not work. So I say again, DO NOT BUY. If you buy the KadiaMobile your a fool. But that’s just my opinion based on my experience.

iPhone vs iPad

R D Rich

Works great on iPhone. Does not work at all on iPad.
