Very well organized beginner guitar app journey through the basics. The best part is the play along songs section which gets you used to keeping time with real music. Highly recommended!

Just started back on acoustic guitar after a 20 year lay off. Learning at a fast but comfortable pace. Videos are clear and methodology very effective. Wish there was a way to sync my iPad and iPhone as I alternate between the two.

I had been trying to learn guitar myself for a while with no success. I started using this app, and committed to practicing a bit every day for at least 30 days. I’m two weeks in, and I can’t believe how far I’ve come. I now know 8 chords and can change between them at a decent pace. This is miles beyond what I could do when I started. The material itself is clear and organized very well. I am able to track my progress which keeps me motivated, as opposed to meandering around on YouTube trying to figure out what I should be doing to learn this instrument. Unlike many apps, this one is absolutely worth the money, and I love that the free trial period allowed me to see what I was getting into before paying. This is not one of those, “learn guitar in 10 days scams.” You do have to practice to get results. But this program gives you all the tools you need to succeed if you put in the work!

Just started about a week ago! I love it so far. For once I finally feel like I’m making progress with my electric guitar, I’ve had it for about two years now; never found the right course. Thank you Justin! I’m picking up my guitar everyday now thanks to this app right here! One request though, please get Kanye West’s song Heartless on here I would love to be able to learn it eventually!! ??????

This app really helps you to play. I wish there were more badges you can earn. This edition has been crashing when I was in the playground. I’m being patient and feel they will fix it soon.

Love the lessons, not the app...

So far I have loved the lessons and structure of this app. I went ahead and forked out the money for the full version, but it won’t let me access the songs. I’ve tried emailing with no response. I cannot progress in the app without “playing “ the songs and giving the 2 star ratings. Really upset that I’ve spent $60 dollars, received no response, and cannot move on. I’ve tried all the normal go-to fixes like restarting my phone, restarting the app, making sure everything is up to date. I’ve tried loading it on WiFi and LTE.... nothing

I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar, so a few months ago, I went out and bought one. My daughter told me about Justin’s app, so I played with it for a couple of days and then put my money down. I like the step by step progression and I like being able to see my progress. I’m excited to keep going.

A great tool to learn the guitar

I had been following Justin Guitar via his YouTube videos for some time. This app is great because it incorporates some of those videos and has some great exercises to learn the chords and practice chord transitions, strumming patterns etc. I’ve completed the lessons but the app includes a ton of songs to practice with. Each song reminds one of the included chord and the strum pattern used. The tempo and difficulty of the included songs varies so one can work up to faster songs and more complicated chord transitions. I’ve really enjoyed this training app and while it is put together well it also attests to the knowledge that Justin gets across. A great app!
