I am fulfilling a bucket list dream of mine to learn to play the guitar. I am not really tech savvy nor do I have a great attention span...so I was really skeptical about learning guitar from an app. I originally found the JustinGuitar videos on YouTube and thought those were great enough! But then I heard about his app and it’s even better than I could have hoped for—truly truly. Some people are natural born teachers and Justin is definitely one of those people. I have a lot of friends who are incredible musicians but can not explain music to save their lives—so trust me when I say to be able to play music well AND also teach it is a gift. Thank you for this app. It’s truly making a dream of mine come true :)

One minute cord change part doesn’t keep up with lessons completed. It refuses to add the last chord I have learned. I love the lessons. Justin explains why to do something as well as how. Learning my way around the program has made it easier to navigate.

Just started the course about two months ago and like the progression of the lessons. The songs go well with each stage and having the ability to control the tempo is really nice! The extras - one minute changes - make it fun and you can see your improvement. I’ll keep going...

I’m 64 years old, have been trying to learn since I was 15, always got stuck, frustrated when it came to chord changes. This has been the easiest and best course I’ve ever tried, and believe me I’ve tried quite a few. I’m playing songs, changing chords with no worries. Thank you!

The “major UX overhaul” that was released a week ago apparently didn’t notice the iPhone X sitting in the corner. Please, developers, release an update that respects safe area insets. It’s a bit much to ask for a hefty subscription price for an app that doesn’t lay out correctly on Apple’s flagship iPhone. Thanks.

I’d give this a solid five stars if it would sink across devices as well as the website :-)

I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar, so a few months ago, I went out and bought one. My daughter told me about Justin’s app, so I played with it for a couple of days and then put my money down. I like the step by step progression and I like being able to see my progress. I’m excited to keep going.

Took guitar lesson several times over the years, never felt like I made much progress. This course has me feeling like I could actually play a song or two for my friends.
