I'm a beginner guitar player and this app has been a great way for me to learn on my own time. Justin really makes it easy to learn all the chords and strumming patterns at my own speed.

Sometime back I had (unfairly) given this app a poor review due to some technical issues that Musopia has since fixed. The company is very responsive and seems genuinely devoted to building a quality app. Having tracks to play along with makes this app a great supplement to the lessons on Justin Sandercoe's website. You can slow them down to practice a technique and, best of all, you can choose drums to keep time instead of a ticking metronome! It makes practice time more like jamming with a band. This is great for beginners, or those of us who are rusty after recovering from a (non-guitar-related) repetitive stress injury. Will this app make you a guitar god(dess)? No, but it's a great place to start your journey.
