Beginner Four chord App

Middlekid45

I just saw I had put this app on my IPad Air 2 . I started going thru the lessons on chords (4) and strumming and then two songs , four songs I didn't have to use a Capri and was able to try to keep up with a lot of my favorite tunes as I improved the speed and quality of my chord changes to the beat. There is a way to reduce the rate of the metronome and backi g song but it sounded dumb with the backi g . It was fun I played about four songs ten times trying and improving a bit. I had learned the A chord with fingers in a row and was floundering g to switch us g middle finger. At top. You can stop the song or lesson any time by touching the screen and practice the chords alone and then continue It was a lot more helpful having the song and lyrics with the tablature and image of finger place, net all in the screen! I had been searching g for sheet music pdfs to orient if the songs which would be great . I loved app. I don't know what it will cost after my free trial expires in two days and I just found it yesterday . Well done Justin and thanks.

Can't reach badmoon rising song

Sniksder16

Hi, so this is my second time typing this because my nickname was taken and instead of taking me back it deleted my review/outreach which was very lengthy. Basically I can't find a way to contact the developers as their website, at least for mobile, didn't have a link to do so. In short I'm looking to play badmoon rising, the sole reason I paid for full access, but don't want to have to go through all the tutorials. It seems kinda stupid to have to play them all just let the user choose whatever they want to play the app is intuitive enough for a true beginner to know where to start anyways. Anyways if you could help me find a way to change to advanced user and skip the tutorials that would be great. If not I'll play through them and see if it's worth to continue paying for full access. Thanks for your time, Brandon

Best app got guitar lessons

Bvmaestro

I am a music teacher who always wanted to play guitar. I have tried the old fashioned way of trying it by myself but I always got frustrated with my big fat fingers. I am trying again and I began looking for apps to help me learn. Of all the apps I have tried, this app is the best. The videos are well done. You are walked through each step of fingering a chord. Justin models the fingerings and he explains potential common challenges and how to problem solve them. The subscription isn't over priced and the instruction so far has been worth every penny. I will be recommending this app to students, and I recommend it for anyone wanting to learn how to play the guitar.

Great App

DMB246

Just started using this app and very impressed with the various features. Playing along with beginner songs is affording me the opportunity to train my ears to hear the chords. This is where I find it most beneficial.

Great beginner app!

Wkdmnky

This app delivers!! There are great instructions and lessons and TONS of songs. It has helped me to learn on my own where many other methods have failed. You should definitely know it is just beginner lessons though. If you know more that 10 chords you need something else. Also you need to be self motivated and honest about your progress and you will learn well and quickly.

So far so good!

I'm a complete beginner and I love how user friendly the app is. I love the videos and step by step instructions. I haven't tried a lot of apps but this seems to be great so far!!

Most Pragmatic Means to Cultivate Skills; that I've found yet

i has opinions you see

Absolutely outstanding. There are two excellent tools of this app which stand out for me: ~ The concept of using the songs in the "playground" in the long - term.as means to integrate new techniques above and beyond the lessons in the app... is simply brilliant. ~ The one minute changes drilling tool I also found Justin's empathic and realist approach to be very conforting as my inner child strives to develop a new skill set ^ ^

Big improvement

Cdusty

I've tried a few other guitar apps but this one blows them all away. This is the perfect combination of practice and one on one tutorials.

Awesome! More than an app it's a real beginners guitar course

iolanta20

I'm went from knowing absolutely my nothing to being able to pick up the guitar and play chords and songs. The method of teaching and requiring practice to move forward is genius and forced me to work and get better. I had a blast and am ready for the next level.

Good app BUT poor support

Truebluetwo

The app is good at teaching a beginner rhythm guitar but it does not go far enough. It only covers the first 4 levels out of the total 9 levels in Justin Sandercoes's Beginner Course. Support is almost nonexistent for the app. The course app has been out for quite a while. They have added a few more songs/progressions but as far as I can tell, they do NOT intend to finish the app with the other 5 levels.
