Excellent recording app for my Apple Watch

No complaints here, this program works and it works almost flawlessly when I need it. Easy to use too, just press the little red button on my Apple Watch and I can record the entire conversation privately right on my Apple Watch. The translation feature works about the same as other apps out there for me anyway, some words it gets, others it doesn’t, I think it’s my Dutch accent that’s hard to understand. ?

Using this app with my Watch Series 6 has caused me to lose a number of recordings so far. Recordings would be labeled as being 5 hours long, only for me to check in the iCloud sync folder on my iPad that it is only 2 seconds long. Transcription sometimes works, but only for people within very close proximity, and even then it does not work a lot of the time. Transcription also requires you to leave the device on the app and wait, which meant that for long periods of time I could not use my phone. Will give it credit for the times it worked, as the Apple Watch is much more convenient than phone, but at least Voice Memos will not disappear my recordings while offering the same compatibility with watch. The one time I tried customer support they responded frustratingly late.

Bought the app to use in meetings for transcription. It won’t transcribe the recording. So now I isn’t have a recording….there are other apps you can use to record that are free!!!

I’ve tried many recording/transcription apps and this one has all the features that I want and it’s simple. Fantastic app
Useless on Apple Watch

Total waste of money. It won’t make a recording. It starts to take a recording and then it appears to be recording working only to look at it a few minutes later and realize it has stopped recording and nothing has saved. I have tried it numerous times and tested over and over with the exact same result. It’s a complete dud. Total waste of money. Do not purchase.

Just got a new Apple Watch series 6 and the Just Press Record app is not working at all for the watch. Any idea what’s going on? Is there an update coming? Look forward to hearing back from someone? Thanks. M.

I love this App. Very universal and makes it easy for me to have on demand. I play guitar and am always recording my play time. Highly recommended!

No frills, no fluff, no opening the app and tapping around trying to start recording. This app is great for quickly jotting down ideas. I do wish it had some method of organizing files with folders, tags, stars, or something…

$5 is expensive for this app. False advertisement: it does NOT have a Lock Screen Widget. You can put a very limited widget (3 unsizeable options) on the Control Center and get to it from the Lock Screen (by swiping), but you cannot use the widget without unlocking the phone first.
