Loses recordings if the watch shuts off.

I lost a long and important recording because the watch powered off before I could stop the recording. I received a 10% power alert, but estimated I would have a few more minutes. Unfortunately, because the recording drains the battery quite quickly, I didn’t have long left at all - the watch shut off, and the long and important recording was lost. ?

Buggy App, WOULD LIKE REFUND

Wish would have bought another App Required the app to record on phone and didn't record. This has been ongoing both with the phone and especially the Watch App. *Also if your phone or watch runs out of battery aka dies while using it. You lost the whole recording, I mean where are these programmers coming from. For a program to not have the technology or know how to keep a recording is beyond me, especially in this age of technology. Poor poor app user experience.

Ringing phone Stops recording

Love the program but if my phone rings which it does often it stops the recordings. Also transcribe stopped working a while back

I use Just Press Record on my watch, phone, iPad and Mac. It is one of my favorite apps.

I use this across my Apple ecosystem almost daily. On the phone it lives right in the dock, on the watch it is a complication on my primary watch face. I can’t think of anything I would want changed.

The simplicity of this app is its killer feature. Oh, that and THE TRANSCRIPTION! Wish the default voice memos app did that. Anyway, could the Watch complication icon be a bit more interesting? It’s a boring red dot. Sort of uglies up my watch face. Something like the voice memos icon would be nice. But, I digress. This is a great app. Simple to use. Thanks!

This app is easy to use and effective for capturing quick thoughts. I really like the Apple watch widget thing that allows me to record from my watch.

Works well on the watch

I bought this to record audio using my watch. It works well. Put your watch on airplane mode to prevent incoming calls from interrupting your long meeting recordings. Transcription has gotten much better over the years. Easy to transfer the audio to my PC.

Great for transcribing dreams with Apple Watch

Just create a watch face with one big button for Just Press Record. Switch to that watch face when going to sleep and when you wake up...voila! Record that dream that’ll you’ll probably never go back and read. I import my transcribed dreams into Day One app. That way I can search keywords and see how many times I dreamt of something. One thing I realized is I don’t have to rush my speaking when using the app like you do with a Siri command. Long pauses in one’s speaking doesn’t make it automatically stop or anything.

Saved my job

This app saved my job due to being forced to get letters from my surgeon that I had zero restrictions after a major back surgery. I wasn’t allowed to have my phone in HR’s office but having this on my Apple Watch allowed me to record HR saying if I didn’t get the letters than I would be let go. My lawyer had a blast with them when I quit to get me a nice severance pay.
