Transcription is good, wish it had deeper integration with shortcuts

I had intended to use this with shortcuts, as it is advertised as being compatible. However, the integration doesn’t go much beyond starting a recording with a shortcut. I’d like to be able to start a recording, and then pass the transcript to another part of the shortcuts script.

I love this app. It’s so nice to go for a walk, and make notes to anything that comes to mind, and easily get transcripts when I get home using the desktop app. Watch app is a nice bonus. One feature request: CarPlay support so I can record ideas while driving.

I was in a meeting with my boss recording the conversation, looked down at my watch, said it was recording. Go to find it later, not there. No sign of it what so ever, that meeting was over 12 mins long.

• If there were a way to tack onto the end of an existing recording then this would be 5 stars. (Currently if you accidentally stopped the recording or forgot to mention something you need to create a separate recording) • It would also be nice to be able to switch between the bottom microphone and the rear microphone (next to the camera on the back)

Ive used for years. About 6mo ago it started recording me on my watch without my authorization. I’d see it recording after 25+ min and at first figured i must have touched the complication. After 3-4 times i checked which screen i was on at rest. Just record was not a complication on that screen. Ever. So … i am glad to have a simple recording app. It could be better, but i cannot recommended because There’s something fishy about how it triggers itself. Nope. Nope. Nope.

This app would be perfect if only there was a way to pause a recording on the watch app. You can only start and stop a new recording on the watch app, so I have to start a new recording each time even if I just need to pause ?Without a feature like that, the app is useless to me and I wasted $5 and continue to search for the perfect watch recording app ? Update: I stand corrected! Just swipe down to pause ?

It would be fantastic if an option could be added to automatically dump transcriptions and recordings right into an apple note. To make it actually visible on my Mac computer. And easily viewable on my devices. Reading files in the app is clunky. Having to expand them to read them becomes a nuisance. Viewing on a Mac computer is all but impossible. Totally useless as a practical matter. Another good improvement would be to fix the option to send both a transcript and a recording somewhere. That is not working properly. I just get the recording another text.

Thanks for making this app. My dad recently came down with a terminal illness and there is a lot going on. Plus I have a really bad memory or ADHD. Being able to easily record on my Apple Watch has been key to getting through this tough time.
