language issue

after more than 3yrs of using

Please either fix this thing to support multiple languages on the host machine, or prevent the client from unintentionally changing host's language when certain shortcuts are pressed. Otherwise great app.

Update to video and audio quality issue

Cr3ate

The issue seems to be caused by update to MacOS Monterey where it is affecting Wi-Fi on computer. After PRAM, SMC and clearing cashes, things are working much better and JD is back to the way it was.

Whoa

I decided to try Jump again on a whim after using a competing remote app for years. While away visiting family, I connected to my home Mac (M1 mini) from my M1 iPad Pro, and the speed and smoothness of the new Fluid is almost unbelievable. It hardly feels any slower than using my 2017 12" Macbook on it's local screen! Highly recommended...

Omg

After hours and exhausting every email/pass I own, now terrified I’ve opened up the world to my computer, I still cannot even log in let alone access anything but a spinning buffer I hope the developers or apple will give me my $10 back

Fine product

Very happy 2019

As advertised..so far. Thanks for a fine product

Not as advertised

Easy to install and works reasonably well “if” you can make a connection However it is very difficult to make seamless reliable connections to different machines

Great app - except no file transfer

Figmo the great and powerful

I’ve been using this app for a couple years now to control my Windows machines from iOS and other Windows machines. Works great for remote control - except the clipboard is very limited. You can copy/paste text between host and remote. But that’s all. No copy/paste of images. And (very frustrating) NO COPY/PASTE OF FILES!!! In fact, there really is no way to do any sort of a file transfer between host and remote machines. Your only options are the same games you’ve always had to play when transferring files between any two machines (e.g. “email to yourself”, “install an FTP server”, “use a thumb drive”, etc, etc) This app brings NOTHING to the table to aid in file transfers. So to sum up - great for remote control. But you’re on your own if you have an image or other file you need to transfer between machines. Too bad. I would have given it 5 stars if it allowed file transfers.

Well Worth it

This is a one stop shop. 14.99 is nothing for this app. I use this to control my Mac Mini at home and My windows PC great for both. The trackpad on my IPad Keyboard does work to control the mouse on both the Mac and the PC. I also have a built in VPN in my router to allow me to use this app anywhere in the world. All other apps I tried were super laggy and slow. Or the track pad would not work. This one is the best by a long shot. Also with my setup no need to install software to the host device you are trying to control which is great. Again 5 starts great app.

Great App. Support could be better.

Update 1/27/2022- invited to test new version to see if it resolves my issues. With current version I have periods where connections fail and some periods where they work. No further info available at this time. Update 1/6/2022- Connections still being refused at their server. Support has not responded since 12/28/2021 when I sent them iOS logs at their request. Enjoyed this app for years. Support is slow to listen and gives very little attention to the information they request when I have a problem. Recently the app quit working on my phone. It would show the proper statuses of my computers but would not connect. The problem started the same day as my updating the iOS to 15.2. I don’t know if that’s a coincidence or a cause. Waiting for over 48 hours for some real support. Meanwhile productivity is dead in the water. Now looking for a non-AWS solution after recent weeks.

Great. Period.

I am not sure if there is an app similar to or better than this one, but it is a really good one. It works fine for logging onto my MacBook from iPad even with slower wifi connections in e.g. coffee shops and malls. No disconnections or any other issues encountered. Hope they keep the good work and also continue to support the free app.
