So I ordered two items, an havit i96 earbud and an xbox controller and for the first time i paid before delivery, to have peace of mind upon delivery as they said. On delivery day, i was texted by a jumia agent that my package was available. The agent later called me 5 hours later to tell me my first package has was mistakenly shipped to Imo state, and i just canceled the order. The second package would take over two weeks to deliver and i could not have it canceled as i was already feeling i should just buy somewhere around me. Then I received a text from jumia saying an agent will call me. The agent never called and when i called the agent to cancel the delivery, he never did, i called him again the next day and i heard what i never thought an agent would ever say. First, he said i could not cancel my order because i already paid and I explained that all he needed to do was cancel it and my money would be refunded, he asked me “How will I receive my money?” I said the money would be credited to my jumia wallet and he said hissed and said i should cancel it myself and ended the call. 0902 515 2550 that is the number of your delivery agent, please refund my money. I will not be using jumia ever again. I have talked to customer care support for 5 days, both on phone and online and you all seem to be the same. I can never trust your company again.

the services provided by Jumia are quite useless (eg. customer service number, info about track and return.. etc.) they hardly solve any problems or answer any questions. the application interface has tons of errors and glitches. the sellers provide false info in some descriptions. honestly a lot needs to be fixed with this application/entire business because it’s not working with full potential. Jumia has a variety of good products but these errors are making it hard to be a regular user

Firstly, it took a month and 3 days for my product to arrive. I was also told the delivery would be to my doorstep, and charged ‘delivery cost’ but i had to use my transport fare to go pick it up... i was told my product would be shipped from abroad and was charged a ‘shipping cost’ (turned out the shoe was Aba made). I ordered for a tuantte, the shoe that came didn’t even have a label on it, my local shoemaker can make better shoes, I can’t wear such local and bad quality shoes... it’s so sad, it seems you people do not have any regulating bodies here in nigeria, poor service. They should be probed by EFCC, thieves.

Found only a single payment method available ( mtn mobile money) . Tried contacting customer service on a Monday morning and got no replies after several tries. Using both numbers i found on the website, i couldn’t get any response from any. Form for submission of inquiries must include an order number. That means you only serve those who have ordered. What about those having issues ordering?

Why do you keep my bank card details without my consent? This is a security issue. That how people’s money are stolen when someone hacks your system. Avoid this app if you can!!!!!

I ordered for 23 items, 7 items was cancelled for no reason and I later found out that they cancelled the items cuz the sellers has increased the price. This is very wrong and secondly,a seller once called me to cancel my order and that he can deliver the item to me and I will pay him in cash when he deliver.

For real I don’t understand why a big company like Jumia will invest so little in the maintenance of their mobile app. Front-end is basically their website Enclosed in an “app” which is really poor. some pages like the flash sales page don’t load fully. A lot and lot of bugs that’ll make you wonder if this is the Jumia that went public last year ?♂️smh. You guys can do much more better
