Love Jillian’s App

The workouts make you feel like you are in a personal training session with Jillian, and she is kicking you into shape! I am doing Transform 90 and loving it! I took several months off from working out due to arthritis and knee issues, but this workout is a slow progression to restore the body! Thanks Jillian for the time you devoted to creating a great app!


Great but I wish she added new exercises

I’ve been using this app since it came out and I have loved it. However, I wish Jillian added new and different exercises every now and then. They are the same since the app came out a year ago. Off the top of my head, some nice options to add would be -kettle bells -straps -ab wheel -more medicine ball exercises (The medicine ball exercises are few and far between and some I refuse to do... I’m not throwing my medicine ball against my living room walls!) -maybe even some exercises that require household items like a chair or socks on hard surfaces. (Her audience is working out in their homes!) -Even a yoga option would be nice! I find myself using it less or adapting the routine mid workout to make it harder, different or simply more interesting. Please add some more exercises!!!!

My biggest hurdle was starting at my fitness level - although I love Jillian I could never finish the workouts! Too hard for my level! With age, longer hours at work and more weight is getting even harder! I really like that she has a beginners workout in the app! It is so doable! I feel I worked out and I was able to complete it! I feel good about accepting AND completing the challenge! Thank you for including this!

I’ve been using the app for 5 month now. I use it for exercises only. I get that the videos are a bit dated, but who cares? With these totally customizable programs you can achieve the best shape of your life for the fraction of the gym membership! Two month after I started to rock with Julian, I got abs I didn’t know I could have! My favorite part is that if I can’t hit the gym, I can hit the floor at home (!)- no equipment necessary. I don’t have any issues with music apps comparability (Apple Music and pandora work just fine) and setting up the time in between exercises. Honestly, the only thing that annoys me is the blurred picture of the next exercise. Please fix it! Developers constantly working on bugs, so I’m mostly a very happy user!

I LOVE THIS APP! I started with the free trial and am now subscribed to a full year. LOVE: -30 min workouts are perfect for my schedule. I can add more time at the end or finish at 30. No excuses not to exercise! - Ability to preview an exercise with Jillian’s instruction. Love! - Ability to use my own Apple playlist during her workout. - variety each day. There are repeats and new moves to mix it up each day. - no equipment required! - menu food suggestions - Having Jillian work out and train in my space! I hope that Jillian will add more verbal cues- I love what I get, eg: squeeze this or tuck that. Sometimes, I’m not sure of what muscle I should feeling. Also would like some breathing cues. Not sure when to inhale/exhale. - not sure about integrating with streaming services like Spotify. All of my current playlists are in that app, but I don’t see a way to use it. Update_ thanks for the support. Using your tips, I can use my Spotify playlist during my workouts with Jillian. This app is nearly perfect! Overall, I think this app cracks the code on mobile exercise. I can use it anywhere I am, it’s easy to use, easy to follow, and Jillian clearly cares about the home user. The results I’m experiencing are invaluable! Thank you!


Need More Variety

I feel that all the Customized Workouts are the same. Slim 60 has the same workouts as Transform 90, Fitness for beginners and so on. I sometimes get bored looking at the same scenery and performing the same workouts. Also, the meal plans required tons of preparation. There are too many ingredients in most of the recipes. Can you create a more simple meal plan..something quick and easy? Also, a few motivational texts wouldn’t hurt every now and then to keep the motivation going. Thank you ? Note: I hope Jillian does read this!

This is such a cool app. I'm shocked by how much you get. Great workouts, great meals and great tips from Jillian herself. So cool and thanks for the watch app! Loving the new kickboxing workouts. Nothing like it on the store.

Stepping it up!

Enjoy the workouts but it always comes up with the cardio workout for the automatic daily workout. Since I only have the free version I only get one per day. It definitely gets my heart rate up in 7 minutes or less which is more than I can say for my other workout apps that I use
