This app is for the Metro-North commuter rail system in New York City. To learn more about iTrans, visit our website.
I am constantly running for my train at GCT. Not only do I check for train times, but I am looking to see if I have to go upstairs, or down. The Coo-coo app gives the track number for free (but their "up to the minute updates" are unreliable ). Why can't there exist an app that is updated reliably and gives track numbers?
Gets you the intel but really hard to use compared to other train schedule apps. Don't upgrade. Track number info hardly works. Also doesn't work well when no data connection exists.
This app does exactly what you would expect. Commuting everyday to NYC, I wouldn't be able to get by easily without this. Worth the upgrade for the notifications and live updates. Hopefully soon we will see an update for the iPhone 5's larger screen.
No service or track notifications despite setup. Otherwise. A good app.
Shows best trains from point to point, which is handy when planning a trip, but should be switchable to show all trains. That way when I am early to the station, I would know there might be trains to skip.
This app is sweet. It lets me know when the train is gonna be there and it's always right on the money. Can't ask for more.
Works very well for my daily White Plains - NYC commute. Definitely need to buy the subscription - so you get track numbers.
geo-location aware, snappy performance, bookmarking of favorite routes, clear color-coding of MNR routes. use this regularly.
