…when composing an invoice. It takes you to a page you can’t leave and you have to force quit the application. The customer service rep indicated that the development team is struggling mightily to figure out how to put a ‘back’ button on that page and seemed open to my suggestion of putting a banner on the composition screen telling people not to touch the Settings link.

Had never needed to invoice while on the go but as more customer referrals kept calling I found myself in need of being able to invoice while going from one job to the next....this app is by far the best investment to do that and keep track of who’s paid and who needs to....great app

I have been using invoice 2 go for 6 years and I am very happy with their services. The complete makeovers every year are little confusing but once you learn the new system it’s always an improvement.

It’s a good app, but it needs to have subcategories. Our business has over 200 products and trying to put them all in one category can get pretty messy and time consuming for our employees specially to try to find the product that they want to invoice, other than that it’s worth every penny!

It will take some time and effort to change over, but I am looking forward to something different. After 3 years I can’t stand the beast this thing has become. I don’t want my items saved because they are all different, so I have to fight off the old ones every time I try to type in new ones. It also can’t seem to remember all the clients you’ve sent invoices and estimates (and are trying to send another one) to, so sometimes you have to re-enter all their info! Frustrating!

I’ve lost Two estimates in as many days. A couple hours of work gone. I’m just about done with this. I’ve been using for years. Had enough!! UPDATE! Customer support was very fast with my problem and helped me fix my issue. You must save your work! After the update it is more stable. Sure, there are hiccups. Nobody likes change by looking at the last couple of months of reviews. But, they do reach out and help you fix it. Still my go to estimating software.

I’ve been a member from the very beginning of the app when it had under 25 reviews. Throughout the years I had to upgrade to a plan that would let me share my info from my iphone to my Android phone and purchased a pro plan (huge mistake) years latter I no longer use Android. My plan expired and all my invoices are kept hostage all I can do is view them, I can’t print or email to customers who have a balance due. I will write to the attorney general to complain about this in my case illegal issue. I payed to use and create invoices and to have access to them. Allow expired users to print and email invoices already created. If I’m not allowed I will take legal action to collect what customers owe me and make Invoice2go pay what they owe me.

Crashes, sync problems, rounding up problems

Update 8/15/17: Deducting 1 more star. First re the developer response: I am using the most current version so it's dishonest to suggest that the problems I list are due to using an older version. Second, it crashes more with every passing day. I did figure out that it crashes when I select a block of text. If I use the arrow keys instead of double tapping a word to delete or edit it doesn't crash. This is just another tremendous waste of time when trying to run a business. Can't imagine this issue would be so difficult to fix with some programming adjustments so I can't understand how any developer allows their app to crash and doesn't fix it. And now when I try to edit an item the text doesn't appear. I finally figured out that on the iPad I can arrow up and then I can see the text. On the iPhone you're out of luck. Try to edit an item and you stare at a blank paragraph. I've used it for a few years and although it was useful in the past, these issues are starting to be a deal-breaker: 1. I've wasted hours re-creating invoices because it crashes, especially on iPad Pro, and sometimes doesn't sync between devices. A couple of days ago it simply refused to load my client list so I had to postpone creating invoices until it finally synced itself. 2. With the recent updates you can no longer enter a number out to 3 decimal places. I have to bill mileage at the current IRS rate of .535. Invoice2Go rounds up to .54. Therefore all my invoices are incorrect, it's impossible to reconcile them, and my clients continually remind me that I'm billing mileage incorrectly. My accountant is monumentally unhappy and is encouraging me to switch to a more accurate and usable invoicing app. It looks like some of your upgrades are done in a lab in the sky by people who don't use the app and can't project the needs of the end user. UPDATE 6/3/18 Downgrading by 1 more star, worse and worse. Crashes every few minutes on my iPad Pro. The amount of time I’ve wasted re-entering info is incalculable. Fix it.
