Great potential, needs severe work

I have been using Instagram since mid-2013, and up to recently it was always a smooth app. The recent changes to the feed algorithm have screwed up the entire app, but I don’t mind that very much. I frequently switch between two different accounts, and recently both stopped loading my feed. After restarting both my device and the app, I knew it was time to reinstall, but after doing so the app will no longer let me log in to either account. I get a message that says something along the lines of “We were unable to process your request.” I take this to Instagram support, and they request a picture of me holding a handwritten code along with my name and username. After about twenty four hours of waiting, support responds with an email simply saying “we are sorry, but we cannot support this kind of request on this channel. The conversation will be terminated.” Guys. Why does it give me literally zero reasoning, and just end it? This is extremely frustrating.

Can you create a way to cut off notifications after you comment on someone’s pic?

I don’t care what some random person is commenting on after I comment on someone’s pic. At least give me the option I want to see other people’s comments. FB has this feature

Every third post is an AD. Half are videos that auto play even if you have that disabled. It’s so intrusive. It’s so irritating. If you like sponsored posts and obnoxious Ads mixed with some cute pics, this app is for you.
