New algorithm is terrible

I have about 900 followers and my posts on average get around 100-140 likes. The past few days, my posts have been getting 40-50 likes. My followers that are normally very active aren’t seeing my posts until days later. Bring back the chronological feed!!!

It’s good, but can there be a way to search the activity under the “like” and then “following” tab? I wanna cut through all the junk from the big accounts I follow

I think it is good except for the fact that the photos someone sends you in a DM can only be viewed once anymore. I had my friend send me her notes to help me in algebra and I accidentally clicked it and then I never got to see them or screenshot them to study with later.

Thanks to the Facebook algorithm takeover, posts are no longer in real-time and my feed is riddled with Ads. So much for the whole reason IG was great!

I love Instagram, but would love it if I could periodically not share some photos with select people, particularly if I thought a given post might leave someone feeling left out. I wouldn’t want to unshare my entire feed, just some pictures. Seems like you can select people with whom you want to share a post after it is posted, but not before? Anyway, that’s my only complaint.
