The whole new update with the recommended section while I’m looking through my posts is stupid. That’s what the explore page is for. I’d recommend just taking that off.
New post sequence is terrible!

Not sure why you decided to change the order of posts, but it’s terrible. The non-chronological order of posts is why I left Facebook, just became frustrating to stay updated. Just refreshed my Instagram feed and now it’s showing posts from mid-November. I don’t need to see previews for Black Friday sales when it’s a week from Christmas! Terrible decision.

I do love Instagram a bit more than I should, but I'm rather upset lately because when I post things of my carvings and sculptures my post get hidden from other people because someone doesn't agree that their actual sculptures I'm sorry but you cannot decide what art is and there for what a sculpture is. FYI I am talking about my other page which is about enclosures vivarium and paludariums

There are a few annoying changes that have been made recently in the app that I feel need to be voiced. First of all, the non chronological order that propagates our feed is frustrating to say the least. It feels clunky and I feel like I don’t get to see all the posts from users that I follow. I’m not even sure what the order of the feed represents. Are they popular posts? Top posts? At least give us the option to choose wether we want our feeds in chronological order or (omakase style). Another annoying change is with regards to the browse interface. You all know what I’m talking about. When you click a post to see the details you no longer can scroll up or down to see the other posts in the order of the thumbnails. Now it’s all similar posts. Whose idea was that? Oh and for some reason if you click on pic thumbnail that’s next to a larger video thumbnail, it only opens the video and not the post you actually are trying to see. The last thing that I can think of is when I’m on a user’s IG and I’m looking through their posts (thumbnails) when I click on one to see the details why can’t I scroll up or down to view the details of their previous or next post? I have to go back to thumbnails and then click the next. Ugh. Ok. I’m done. That felt good to get off my chest.

I am not pleased with the new explore page. I liked being able to just swipe through all of explore, but now when I try to do that, I only get the same or similar accounts to the photo I swiped. This is very annoying and I’d like it to go back to the way it was before.

Dear Instagram/Facebook, who the hell told you to change your algorithm/API to what YOU think I want to see first?? Change it back to chronological order dammit. I’m seeing crap from 2 weeks ago!
