Once upon a time...

FLArmyWife

(Written 10/06/2017) ...there was a promising App called Pocket Informant it’s developers faithfully and diligently kept developing this awesome app and many learned to love and depend on. One day the developers started talking about a complete makeover, promising even more improvements and efficiency, but neglected to mention what financial changes would be implemented. Than this brand new app simply called “Informant” comes out and the long term customers who have watched this company grow and develop into what it is today got told: “By the way, thank you for your business and your money, but now we want more money from you. Oh, did we forget to mention that you will now have to pay annually for the features you have been using for so many years. To give you even more good news, we will no longer guarantee that the previous version will keep on functioning as you expect it because we will no longer support it. Have a nice day.” Just like many longtime customers before me have complained and said good bye it is now time for me to say not good by, fare well or see you later, but to say see you never again. This is bad business practice that I will NOT support. P.S. This app might still work for some if you have not upgraded the iOS in a while nor made updates to the app but I promise you that even you will get struck with this bad fortune. I was able to hold out this long but upgrading to iOS 11 rendered the app now completely unusable unless I pay $4.99 and even then there is no guarantee if or how long it will function properly.

Crashes. Needs an Update

Heajah

I loved this calendar app up until it started crashing on me. Every time I try to add an event, I try to enter an alarm or time for the event, it ends up crashing. Perhaps it needs to be updated to work with Apple’s new ios? Nevertheless, Please fix this crashing problem!

No longer support iOS 11

Have to buy informant 5

Getting WORSE instead of BETTER

cpacook

I now join the chorus of many others who are complaining loudly about the latest changes to Informant. Like many others have stated, I am a longtime and (previously) happy user. But now they have chosen to TAKE AWAY previous functionality (Tasks, Notes, Etc) and charge you for it a second time if you want it back!! No one, including (and particularly) the developers, should be shocked or surprised at the measly 2.1 rating that this app now has. On a letter-grade basis a 2.1 rating is equivalent to an “F” (42/100). And to add insult to injury, the previously responsive customer service has gone downhill greatly over the past few years. Sad story!!

Shutting Down

Equus1478

Have always loved this app - but with the latest iPhone update - every time I try to add something to the calendar the app closes

Can’t get the pop up to close

Green-eyed Biker

First I had to pay an upgrade fee and then the Informant Five pop up won’t allow me to close it. This has made the whole program useless! Please fix this...

Bring back the original!

Razzle Cat

I have been using the original Informant for nearly a decade. With the most recent iOS update, my calendar is no longer available and all of my data is lost! I downloaded this updated Informant version, but i’m really not liking the aesthetics. Maybe they will get better with familiarity. I just wish I could have my old calendar back.

업데이트좀해주세요!!!!!!

New iOS update makes it crash when adding events

Crazymomto4boys

I have used this app forever ... recently I updated to the new iOS version and now when I try to add an event it crashes. I’m going crazy. Please fix this. This app is too expensive to have issues like this.

Don’t buy this App

Wannascrap

Bought this App several years ago, it was great, but now they are trying to charge me for features I have already paid for. I feel it’s completely dishonest.
