I love doing my art work on this app but it’s always kicking me out every once in a while and I makes me very mad because I can’t finish what I’m doing ??

Hands down my favourite iPad painting app

Lifelong and professional creative; I jumped from 20 years with Wacom and desktops to an iPad about a year ago. Having tried all of the top tier apps and even some of the more obscure, after giving them all a thorough run, Infinite Painter is my go-to. Procreate is fine, but a bit gimmicky, ArtStudio Pro is excellent but a bit generalist (Photoshop clone; jack of all trades). Infinite Painter really is all about painting. Aside from having virtually every tool one could need for 2d art, lots of little touches throughout make all the difference. My favourite might be the luminance lock in the colour picker. So small a detail, but really helpful. Some might complain about a lack of support for Photoshop brushes, but honestly think that would be a downgrade from the very natural, sophisticated tools already included. My only nitpicks are the touch colour picker isn't offset, so my finger obscures what is being selected, and the swatch gives no context/comparison between the previous and new colours. If I really wanted to dig deep, I could say the interface for downloading community brushes lacks any organisation or search, but I'm satisfied with the given brushes and my own customs, so not an issue. Seriously…as near perfect a painting software as one could hope. And for a guy who has handed over thousands to Adobe and the various owners of Painter over two decades, this app feels a right steal at such a low price. ??

I have yet to find a better drawing app for mobile. I used IP for years on my Android and I’m happy to report it works even better on my iPhone. The tools are super robust and I’m a big fan of the clean interface that puts your art front and center. I especially enjoy using the Lazy Tool for drawing gorgeous lineart with my finger. Infinite painter can be buggy, and a couple crashes have happened, but it runs beautifully on my iPhone compared to my previous Samsung Galaxy. The only thing I’d say would absolutely complete Infinite Painter and turn it from a great option to the undisputed best one would be the ability to animate. Mobile options like Flipaclip are so inelegant when compared to the toolset of IP, I can only dream of what I could do with an Infinite Animator. Just a thought ?

Important Feedback for Devs

Overall great app; certainly has its own personality, which is great to see. Main reason I don’t use it over other apps, unfortunately, is that it doesn’t seem to support wide color gamuts. I understand that most screens are only sRGB capable, but why no P3 color gamut? Why no AdobeRGB? For professional work these options can be quite important. Especially disappointing when using an iPad Pro with the wider color gamut available.

This is really good for me who doesn’t have enough money to use on others apps and is really easy to use and automatically saves your progress when you leave the app I think everyone should download it ?

I started using this app when my friends suggested it to me. It’s a really good app but when I started it was very hard to find those little things to make ur art look Fabulous. In the beginning I made my own color and by accident switched the color. Since I didn’t save the color I got upset. I couldn’t finish my artwork. Then my friend told me that I could get the color back. I got to finish it but I wish they would have videos explaining things. But otherwise it’s a great app

heyyyy i wanted to say that this app is the best and i use it all of the time but the only flaw i have noticed so far is that the eraser is horrible. once i drew this super cute looking wolf and then i messed up and the eraser just went ??? *bad stonks, lol* bug anyways i also wanted to know how to remove or move layers around because i want to draw some things and since there is no fill tool i have to draw in the color to the shape. also last thing is that i want a fill tool here like if you drew a circle you could select the fill tool and fill it in. thanks for reading!!!? , _,,)\.~,,._ (()` ``)\))),,_ | \ ''((\)))),,_ ____ |6` | ''((\())) "-.____.-" `-.-, | .'\ ''))))' \))) | | `.
