Has always been great but still not there

Designlove56

I’ve used the software for many years since 1.0 on Android. After all these years it’s really a bummer to see such a feature rich software not be taken to the real pro level. Without full control of canvas size in pixels and inches, and without canvas resolution control the software is nothing more than a play thing. With where we are now with pro level software for iPad/iOS There is just simply no reason that this shouldn’t be built in. Absolutely needs full canvas size control and dpi/resolution control to be considered something useful for pros. Please make it happen for both platforms (android and iOS)

Pretty good for a free app

I wanted a way to be creative without a mess or needing to buy products/software and this app does that.

Great app but...

Magkahalo

I almost gave this 4 stars but it really deserves 5 still. The only glitch I’ve noticed is when I try to change palettes it crashes. Amazing otherwise.

Congratulation

Great, but some glitches...

This app is wonderful. It simulates painting to the highest potential, and more. Every tool possible is available for a very low price. You can blend, mix and customize brushes to whatever you imagine. There is no limit to the style of painting. Be it Van Gogh or Dali, it is possible with this app, but I highly recommend a stylus. This app is good for painters, sure, but also sketching, illustrating, graphic design or presentations. The strongest point of this app is the vast array of tools immediately available. That said, there is a slight learning curve. Some trial and error is required for best utilization. However, there are some glitches that are quite irksome. Occasionally, when I use the blend tool, the app will either crash, or display a white screen where my painting should be. When I undo changes, pixelated blocks remain in the spot. Furthermore, the blend tool is essential, but sometimes frustrating. It usually ends up erasing contents to a white screen, or simply doesn’t blend colors effectively, rather, smearing them. Perhaps this is more my fault than the app’s (how I’ve set up my blend brushes). I think the app simply doesn’t utilize memory effectively. I have an iPad Air 2, and it still likes to crash. This is annoying, because I can lose hours of work. Please fix these glitches for 5 stars. Other than that, it is a great app, and a worthwhile tool for professionals and amateurs alike, especially for the price (one time, low-prices purchase for everything you would ever need to illustrate). I highly recommend.

Cool

Eyedropper delay?

Aeonbreak

Can we PLEASE be able to adjust the eyedropper long press delay? It is super cumbersome to pick colors in this app ;(

Not that good do not get

MelovesMovies8

I got the app because it was free and it said after 7 days there would be a trial the tools were not even that good do not recommend.

Very Powerful

Love it, brushes feel great. The only qualm I have is the color picker. You need to reach over to the left, and I’m right handed, to the swatch and drag it to your picture plane. Or if you choose to use the long touch method, the color may be sampled but the swatch doesnt update in real time. You will not know if the color picker sampled a color until you let go, and the swatch will update. I hope that this will get fixed. As a painter, these micro pauses in color logic slows the painting process down a bit. Other than that, I am really glad I discovered this app!
