Needs iPhone X support

Just leaving this review so it shows in the analysis you do to see how important it is to update it to iPhone X. If this app gets shut down I won't use Gmail, I'll probably use Outlook or something else. If it gets iPhone X support I'm basically a lifetime user.
Pull up/down gesture is gone

Pull up/down to go back to previous/parent view doesn’t work anymore. Instead, it works like the typical pull-down-update gesture. Am I being A-B tested? I used to be able to force it to come back by quitting the app and re-launching it. Now it just won’t work anymore. Bug or feature? Please bring the gesture back at least as an option!!

This app used to be my favorite mailing app, I even switched back to use gmail just because of this app. Unfortunately this app never got updated to support the iPhone X and I guess it will never be! Google is so stubborn for no reason!
App Animation is Broken

Honestly, please forgive me — what are you doing each time updating the application? Animation on my iPhone 8 has been broken for weeks, and I am pretty sure it’s a bug because each time I reinstall it, the animation works normally, but it starts not showing animation immediately after I reboot my phone. Please please please fix it, and also, like other people said, bring support for X. I understand this is a free mobile application with no ADs — we really appreciate it. Thank you all for your hard work.

I don’t understand why this is such an issue. It’s gone and then it’s back and then it’s gone. I use Inbox so much it’s second nature for me to pull down to go back a level. Now I can’t. Please at least put a setting in the app to allow people to enable this feature. I don’t need to refresh each individual email/folder. Gah! Cmon google.

This app needs some fixing first I want badge icons when I’m at my home screen so I know how many emails I have second there needs to be iPhone X support this is so sad google you need to do something get it together

On one hand I love that I’m able to attach photos to emails in this app, I love that the trash button is easily accessible to trash emails but I wish that if I trash something by accident I could put back into inbox but it only gives me options of other folders or saved... And I hate that it continually says I have an unread email although I don’t ... If these bugs were fixed I’d only use this app but unfortunately I have to use both apps...(gmail app)
