Great app, but the UI has been lacking significantly for the flagship iPhone even though the standard gmail app looks beautiful.

Counter Problem

The fact that I can’t resolve my counter problem is maddening. I like everything the app does, but the fact that my counter doesn’t reset “when I don’t let the animation complete successfully” is really lame. If you don’t care that the counter doesn’t show you your number of unread emails (like if you are one of those aliens who routinely has 345 unread emails) this app is good. Soon I will look elsewhere.

Missing the days of swipe down

Used to love this app, but since they have changed the UX away from swiping down to close emails/folders, it’s been more difficult to use.

I use inbox for 6 months already. What I can tell is that I started to spend much less time to go through all new mails. That is because of great grouping. I like snooze feature that allows to postpone some decisions to the appropriate time and stay very focused. One day I just moved everything to archive and started with empty inbox. Now it's very easy to keep it clean without much effort. Thanks!

Pull down to close is gone!!!

I’ve been using inbox for a while and liked the pulldown to close feature a lot as it can allow me to have single hand operations. With the recent update, this feature is gone and I am forced to use both hands simply because I can’t reach to the back button to the top-left corner on my iPhone 8 Plus. I could’ve given inbox 4 star rating.
