Good But Could Be Much Better

The basic concept and implementation is great -- a lean, easy-to-use app for managing email through smart categorization. But a few basic UI choices make this app harder to use than it should be. For example, there are only two default swipe actions: 1) schedule for later; and 2) archive (or delete). It would be very easy to provide ready access to all three of these common functions at once. Instead, users must choose only two for quick access, and relegate the third to a menu item triggered by multiple taps. Google can do better than that.

I like how the inbox itself works but I refuse to delete all my emails once I'm "done". Please try to find a solution to that.

This makes finding the emails I need to read and file first because it saves me loads of time.
Love the automated nature, but UI? Meh.

The Inbox features are awesome, as far as automated categorization and such. I haven't found another app that does it nearly as well. That said, the UI is a bit inefficient, especially on an iPad; there's *way* too much wasted space. Also, the fact that there still isn't support for a multiple-account inbox is pretty silly given that practically all third party apps support it at this point. As a result, I mostly use Inbox for searching emails and using the automated nature to archive emails into their correct groupings. At least it's great for that!
