Great, with crashing exception.

This is amazing, and I played it for quite a while. But as other reviews have pointed out it crashes after a certain point. Albeit this point is pretty far in the game. Fix this, and I'll feel like I should've payed A LOT MORE. The content included in this is incredible! Not only is it a fun galactic empire game, but there's a fairly immersive storyline too! In other games the diplomacy is extremely straight forward. In this, your decisions effect your races progressions quite a bit. I won't spoil any more, but if you're considering buying this, please do yourself a favor and buy the heck outof it.
Good but crashes...

A pretty good port, only problem is that the game crashes at a certain point. The good news is that it's only the human campaign that crashes but the other two campaigns work perfectly. Hopefully they will fix the human campaign.

What a waste of money, games crashes and tutorial is essentially a joke, only explains overly basic functions. If you want space conquest, you won't find it here.

This game is amazing but it won't stop crashing and I keep losing my progress. Now it won't even let me load my previous game where I was actually doing good for once. Fix the crashing and this game well be the best app by far.

This game could easily be a 4 star game if not for it being completely unplayable in mid to late game due to constant crashing. Once you get past the clunky interface this game has nice depth and playability, till it crashes.. It hasn't been updated in a while so I doubt the devs are still supporting this but if they fix the crash issue I will gladly change my rating. I am playing on the new ipad.

Love the game, however it is still crashing. Also, the cd versions allowed the renaming of fleets and this one does not. Fix the bugs and this will be a top notch app.

It's game crashes after a certain point in the game. When you try to load it, it crashes. I suppose that there will be no updates to fix the issue since the last update was in nov of last year. :( sad, considering that its a pretty good game.
Issues for me have been minimal

I was nervous seeing so many negative reviews but I have been playing for about 10 hours now with only minimal issues. First off, I love this game. I remembered it from my childhood and was very happy so see it ported (and amazed - I doubt it was an easy thing to port!) It's an epic 4D space adventure that can be played many times in many ways, from the head-on brawler, to the tactical commander to the resource managers and so on. So, about the glitches. Yes, there are some but here is how to get around them. First, close all background apps before playing the game. Double click the home button and swipe up on each thumbnail to close open apps. Or you can just restart your iPad. That'll work too. From there, realize you can't just jump in and out of the game like you can iMessage or Facebook. If you need to close the app, save your game manually then close. When you go back into the game, you may have have to relaunch the app (double click - swipe up - launch) and let it load back to the title screen. And that's about it. You keep that in mind and the game runs like a champ! Hope that helps.
