Very glitchy since last update

Using an iPhone X with up to date software: Since the last update using the app for even a small amount of time causes my phone to grow very warm. The app is lagging after browsing for a minute or so, scrolling becomes jumpy and very slow. Leaving the app for any amount of time causes Imgur to restart. This means I can’t pick up where I left off in browsing, reading comments, reading longer posts, etc. The battery drain has increased considerably, I’m not sure why. All of this is very annoying. Content wise, it’s a decent app. It’s just impossible to enjoy it when it isn’t functioning properly.

Imgur is a leftist garbage propaganda website. It used to be a lot of fun, cat videos, dog memes and smokin hotties in bikini’s all over the front page. Now it’s just an “Orange Man Bad” website. These people are so bitter and eaten up with radical leftism, they cannot help but spew propaganda. If you try to bring up an opposing view point you’re post or comment are downvoted. These downvotes effect your account, and once you reach -200 points your account is banned from commenting or posting. So if you do not support radical left wing communism and you offer a different viewpoint or argument, you’re silenced. Try mentioning how communism was the most dangerous ideology of the 20th century and is responsible for the death of nearly 100 million people. All facts. The Antifa/communists will downvote you, insult you with vile and vulgar threats and even death threats. This is all supported by the radical leftist moderators and creators of the website. It’s disgusting and I’m sure this review will be deleted as well.
App sends my phone into meltdown mode.

I’ve been trying to troubleshoot battery drain, overheating, and performance issues for at least a week now on a brand new phone. It turns out that it’s just my Imgur app sucking every bit of ram and battery my phone can give it. I can see from the other recent reviews that this is a major issue. This should have been fixed a day after the last update.
In over 6yrs this app has never NOT had a major problem

I’ve been an imgurian for some 6 years and always had this app. There’s always been a major problem while browsing. App crashing, suddenly sending you back to main page, or randomly skipping back 4 or 5 posts while you’re swiping. If we ever get a browsing bug free app it’ll be a miracle.

Imagine an app where it’s just thousands of political posts. No one goes on imgur for politics, yet that’s all it amounts to.

Freedom of speech and the exchange of ideas are heavily attacked on Imgur. Abusive language abounds and differing ideas are openly and viciously attacked. If members disagree with someone, name calling and insults are thrown without cause. Moderation and enforcement of their community guidelines is quite subjective and clearly biased. This once was a fun place to see some amazing things, but now their members are regularly allowed to say terrible things and use profanity to belittle. Funny thing is, I don’t comment on other people’s posts to keep things civil. Shame on Imgur for allowing its members to treat each other so poorly. By extension, they are clearly encouraging poor behavior. Definitely not an app for kids. Although pornography is not allowed, there is some risqué content and the language is not clean.

Very anti-Trump, posts get removed

Only pro-democrat statements are allowed to be posted. I notice that anything written positively about Trump is downvoted to oblivion, which seems to be the norm since it is so tightly connected to Reddit. Pro-Trump facts in the comments section are removed (yes, the wall has over 400 miles built and not the rhetoric that it never went up). Reposts are all too common with the reposter not giving credit to the original poster. Too many posts of their pets passing away that it is like a Facebook post and artists showing their creations with a link to buy to avoid actually paying for true advertising. Too much of the same old. With my rankings aside, I do enjoy some things that are posted and you can be alerted of new posts from someone that you follow.

I’ve seen worse on the site, including a picture of a deer humping a golden retriever and yet I get banned for a picture of a conversation I had on discord?! This is ludicrous especially because it was a REACTION FROM A FRIEND TO A PICTURE I FOUND ON THE SITE! Don’t download this app
