Likes to ‘freeze’ on adds

The last several updates have seemed only to ADD more numerous and intrusive advertisements. ADDS!
Buggiest, slowest, most-crashing app in the store

Don’t get me wrong; Imgur is great. This app is not. I can’t browse more than 4 or 5 posts before it just stops scrolling, or won’t respond to icon taps, or just freaks out back to the homepage (losing my place in the process). This app has gotten progressively less stable over the years and Imgur should scrap it and start over.
App is far worse than actual website

Some features aren't available or don't work, less intuitive, and I am constantly finding myself accidentally scrolling through one user's post history instead of the main page. Had to delete. I enjoy the website far more.

Freezes and heats up my phone

For the past month or so this app is practically unusable. After about 5 or 10 minutes of use my phone gets hot and freezes. After quitting other apps are sluggish for a little while then it recovers and goes back to normal.
When it works it’s ok.

The app was doing great for a spell, but started having annoying problems a few months ago and as of today it freezes when I launch it. If I switch to another app for even a moment, like to answer a message, it reloads and I lose my place. And the ads! They pop in between posts, but there’s also a banner at the bottom you cannot close (used to be able to). One imitates a dating app and I can see that getting someone in unnecessary trouble. Fix the freezing, keep my place, and chose a better ad format.
From laughs to politics

I come to this app to take the edge off from a hard days work. Away from politics and all the bad news I get flooded with on a daily basis. I used to spend hours scrolling through the endless content that filled me with laughs and joy. Now half the posts are political and it just brings me down. Done with this app.
Crashes constantly

I try this app every once in awhile to see if it has improved. It has not. It constantly freezes up or crashes. No other app I use does this.
