Alternative method? Works fine with Bluetooth but WiFi won’t connect. Ended up with just another speaker which was not why we purchased the iLive under the counter system. Both app and iLive very disappointing.

I can’t connect the speaker, it keep telling me that my phone can’t enable Wi-Fi connection, and the app doesn’t give you any information on how to fix the problem or to get a better connection. I want to give a 0 star but it won’t let me give it.

I called last Tuesday(Christmas) and asked when the app would be up and working for newer iPhone users. I was told “ the end of the month” weell the update does not work for us STILL and I’m kinda upset to find out this was a problem a year ago as well?

Thanks to Yanagi Haruki for creating the LOCON PLAYER app. I’d give him more than 5 stars if I could. >>EVERYONE having Alexa connection problems should read this review! Like everyone else, who have had an exasperating experience trying to access the (once-useful) iLive app to connect-to and control their Amazon Alexa device, I have tried everything, to no avail! Shortly ago, when looking in the App Store (again) for anything to fix the issue of: “Your device(XXXXX’s iPhone) doesn't enable Wi-Fi connection. Please enable Wi-Fi connection then search again” (Which I expect everyone else is experiencing!), I saw the LOCON PLAYER app also listed. I downloaded the app, and it AUTOMATICALLY connected to my Amazon Alexa! I hope this helps!
Not Able To Set Up With iPhone

After receiving as gift. I tried numerous times prior to contacting customer service. They said I would have to wait for an update for the App before it would work with my iPhone. Almost two weeks later and updating the app, still doesn’t work. This was pricey to end up being another Bluetooth speaker only. Can someone please fix this like I was told they would do?!

Sadly, I got the “your device doesn’t enable wi-fi connection” error message on this app. Thankfully I saw a review on here to download Logon Player app and follow directions. Worked like a charm!
