Don’t waste your time

Does not work Yellow dots are not showing up

Not functional

cschoell09

Scanning never works. Yellow dots never appear.

Doesn't work

This app never gets past the point of trying to focus on the floor. Waste of time.

Room scan is a problem

Deafgirlnamiko

U can’t manually select when to stop scanning ur room. That’s a problem cuz it stops scanning too soon and then it has problems detecting all of the floor in the area which means it has problems placing furniture correctly. I end up with hovering furniture or other non realistic looking placements.

Horrible app!

T M H

It tells me to scan the floor, but it gives me about 5 seconds and then decides it’s done — before it even sees the whole room! Then everything is the wrong size and oriented wrong! And apparently there’s no way to change the size of something after you put it down! Also, the selection to rescan your room does absolutely nothing. I tried this in multiple rooms. The advice that the developer has been giving on other complaints is to make sure the room is well lit and the floor isn’t too reflective. My oak flooring in a couple of rooms is not too shiny right now, but it doesn’t work. And the polished teak wood floors in other rooms? How do they propose that I make those not shiny? Scatter dust all over them? I don’t think so. Dim the lights? That doesn’t work with the well lit requirement. I didn’t even bother trying it on tile floors. I guess if you have carpeting you might have better luck. But that leaves out a lot of us and a lot of rooms. And obviously even more homes outside the US, which are far more likely to have wood and tile floors. I guess the best advice is to make sure your floors are dirty so the app can figure out what it’s doing. What’s the point? Don’t waste your time on this rookie effort. What happened to the days when developers used to have pride in their work and test it before releasing? It would be easier to buy something, bring it home, assemble it, position it, decide it looks wrong/doesn’t fit, disassemble it, and return it to the store than to use this app…

Nice concept, but horrible focus

(:-p)

I got the app to do as most would, see how things looked in my home. The functionality of the app in most ways works well but, the camera view is greatly out of focus. I have tried this on two iPhone X’s with the same result. Really hope the focus issue gets fixed.

Does not work well

tytwin

I had high hopes for this app, but they were dashed almost immediately. When scanning my floor, the yellow dots it said to look for never appeared before the app said it was complete. That would have been fine, except the screen was completely out of focus. When I tried to search for items, I could not find some items by type. I then went on the website to find the name of a specific product and when entering it in the search field it returned nothing- not even an item not found/available message. There was also no message that only a select set of products were available for the app. That would have alleviated my confusion. Hope they improve this. It is a great idea and use of AR.

How

Don’t get me wrong I love lkea but it’s to hard to get the 3D model to move where I want it to.

Wall items!

Mr squid kid

I am in love with this app, but something that would help me remodel would be some wall shelves or something similar.

Does not work for me

Michelle SF

I have tried this multiple times on my iPhone 8 Plus and not yellow dots have appeared when asked to scan the floor. Super disappointed.
