Needs some serious work

Really wanted to like this app, but it's rough. Clunky setup, and the credit card functionality didn't work, so I wasn't able to use the service. (I didn't want to use the cash option.) Also, all the disclaimers at startup seem intent on warning users not actually use the service. Not good. Uber is run by jerks, but at least their app works.

If you're expecting Uber like service on this forget it. Don't sign up. No cancellation of trip. No verification of pick up. So useless.

Unreliable arrival times, payment system

I have used iHail twice, once with good results, and another time with very poor service. The problem I encountered happened when going to the MSP airport. The driver was 15 minutes late, and the online payment system didn't work. Why not just call the taxi company versus struggling with this inconvenient and time wasting app? I'm getting über.

Horrible App

My first and only negative app review. There is no way to know how long until your cab arrives, no way to cancel, no phone support, no way to contact driver. Thank goodness I have a LOT of time to kill because someone picked up my fare that seems to be 30 min away.

Taxis are not making the smooth transition into the technology driven era. Payment is hideous and I had to download this stupid app to pay for my drive. Just horrible.

Good for pre-booking

I downloaded the app to secure a ride to the airport for a very early flight. I also selected a notification call and text when the taxi was approaching. I received both and my driver was early! He was nice, courteous, and it was easy to pay with a credit card.

Don't bother with the app - it doesn't work. And since you have to actually book it over the phone, they will give you the wrong information and hang up on you.

I wanted to love this app, but when trying to pre book a taxi for a Hilton hotel in a major city it couldn't find it via street address or "place of interest". Very inadequate address search functionality and no option to manually enter... such a shame.

Frustrating - not enough info, bad UI

There is no indication as to whether a car is coming or not—it simultaneously says "booked" and "attempting to locate nearest taxi". There's no way to cancel, too. So the taxi shows up 15 minutes after I give up and drive myself.
