This app deducted $3.99 from my account for months before notifying me! I’m so upset!!!

I used this as recently as January 21st 2021 to cash out and now every time I try I get the same error popping up, it is impossible to find any contact info in the app for a help center and the website runs you in circles too. I have done everything I can’t at this point and now I’m stuck with $30+ in my Ibotta that is just left there. Trying to find a better option for cash back rebates unless support can actually get back to me and fix my problem.

Not going to say you can retire off of it but you can sometimes cover the cable bill that month. Considering the stuff you buy is a sunk cost, you may as well recoup a bit. It’s nice when i can’t justify spending $40 on something and then i remember I have money sitting in Ibotta.

This one pays pretty well and you don’t have to buy all name brand items to earn points. You aren’t limited to shopping at locations of their choice. And, the payout is real money, none of this 3000 points for a magazine subscription you really don’t want.

Would like to see an “ALL” category for those that only want to scroll through each offer only once because some offers appear in multiple categories and it takes forever to view them multiple times.

I use to love this app and would regularly use it. I’d even make a habit of seeing how many of the sale items I could get to see that stack of cash the next day. Sure it takes a while to clip the offers, but it WAS worth it. For the last year, the app has been hit or miss on recording the items I get when they’re the correct brand and size and from the correct store. Now that I’ve been using delivery, my WalMart account will not stay connected to the app. At all. I’ve tried all the suggestions and contacted customer support twice with no real help. Uninstalled after months of fighting with it. Just going to go back to buying generic which is about the same amount of savings, if not more.

I never had issues with items or bonuses missing until I linked my card. They got back to me after I unlinked my card and purchased the item again and now they aren’t updating the bonus. From a customer service perspective, not good. I unlinked my grocery card in hopes this fixes future issues. In addition, now when I clearly purchase items (home chef) that match and qualify, I don’t get the credit. Last time it took 4 emails and multiple pictures to get the credit. Beyond frustrating

I thought this app was great in the beginning as I was nickel and dimeing my grocery purchases. Last year I started using it on other retailers like Best Buy, Macy’s, and Amazon. I’ve noticed the higher the rebate the more I have to fight for my money and the more frequently my orders have become “cancelled”. Right now I am battling for a $28 rebate because Ibotta says the order was cancelled but the item is sitting in my living room. I have submitted a request for help and provided screenshots of the purchase but Ibotta marks it as resolved and I have to start another one. If you are happy with receiving chump change and a lot of haggling then Ibotta is for you.

Every time I try to sign in, it lets me sign in but it says I don’t have internet connection. I’ve tried redownloading the app and trying again but I keep getting the same error message.
