App doesn’t work anymore

nickname42141

This app was my go to app for all of our family/work events. After the upgrade it hasn’t worked. I don’t recommend this app anymore. My family is currently looking for a replacement. The final straw was this morning when I checked the calendar and all my events for July were gone. I’ve missed a few meetings because of events randomly disappearing. It’s sad because this used to be a great app.

Horrible update!

tbrooks2310

They updated to a new platform and the app is no longer usable. It does not keep the appointments. Set an appointment. Close the app, reopen and it is gone. I have used this app as a paid subscriber for a good 18 months. Disappointed to see it ruined. I am giving it two weeks to hope for a fix and if not I will be canceling subscription.

Ok to manage family schedule

Melsalynn

Not a bad app to manage the schedules of my husband and I from our separate devices... really really hate the update to the calendar layout making the weeks run Monday-Sunday.

Waste of time and money in 2019

Lopez12411

My husband and I have used Hub gold for years to keep our busy lives organized. Recently there were updates and changes to how Hub syncs events and calendars and it has become a nightmare! Events show up in triplicate (or more) on both our Iphone calendars, the app crashes every 5 seconds when you are in it, it’s become useless. We had to stop using it. Doesn’t matter how many times you delete & reload the app it’s bunk. What’s worse is the people at Hub thinks there’s nothing wrong with the improved app and that’s the biggest problem. Sorry Hub but whatever you think you did to make your app better was an absolute fail. Waste of money in 2019. Don’t buy this app.

Update not user friendly

UserR3030

The latest update prevents the user from being able to add more than one list item at a time. I have to hit ‘done’ after every entry which is frustrating and inconvenient. Please change it back so more than one list item can be added without hitting ‘done’ or ‘return’.

Hub updated version.

I have the paid version of this app. It used to work very well but since the latest update this app has become worthless garbage. Most of the time, the appointments don’t even show up on the calendar, or they appear temporarily then disappear. Until they fix this thing, avoid it. It’s trash.

Beware, still not fixed. Do not purchase

Msjoy2u

Entries continue to disappear from calendar and not all members get the scheduled updates. With 5 family members using the app the new large print makes it difficult to us to see on iphone. After 3 years of membership I will not be renewing our membership. This was a great app until this update. Unfortunately I paid $49.00 for a product that does not work. I waited to long for a refund because they kept making promises to fix it. Poor customer relationship.

Awful. Cancelling my subscription.

Dont even get the free version

Updated review 7/11/19: I have sent 3 emails to customer support. 1 was sent back with an automated response and 2 were left unanswered. I saw that an update was done on HUB 22 hours ago. I updated. NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED. I’m switching to Picniic. Review after May 2019 update: Lost all of my important dates family and work for the next 4 months. I did not know that updating would make me lose my information until I updated and a message told me I would lose information on my feed. When trying to set up my new hub, the app repeatedly closes out when I try to pick which calendar to display information on. The only way it will stay open is if I pick “none” for which calendar to display my information on. Which completely defeats the purpose of having this calendar! It stopped syncing lists between my family even though we could still see each other and didn’t give us notifications even though it was on. Awful that this was labeled “bug fix” and “performance updates” and I am paying a significant amount of money for it. I’ll be lying for another app.

Why ruin a perfectly good app??

svenlarson

Your team screwed the app up so bad we can even use it anymore. The lists take forever to load and items on the list can not be dragged and resorted. The lag time from screen to screen is useless for a productivity app. Fire your developer roll it back to the previous version and release it. Thereafter, go back into the sandbox and work on the improvements the developer attempted and don’t release it until it runs near flawlessly. Sorry for the harsh words I’m disappointed with the dev team’s shoddy work.

I’m going to bail UPDATE

Bifftannenrex

What is happening here? How can this update possibly have gone so wrong? I cannot see ANY of my events on the only calendar my family and I use. This app costs way too much money to crap out after the first and only update in years. Pathetic! If this isn’t fixed in the next day or two then I’m bailing and going to the Cozi app. There is not even a way for me to reach out to customer service via the app so I am forced to put you on blast via your reviews! Please! Fix this! Update: one month later. What is going on? Why is the calendar still glitching and why is there no other way to contact someone other than leaving a review? I need to create an anniversary that happens in tbt past and am no longer able to do so. I am also unable to save new events or view the events my husband adds to the calendar unless I delete and add that app back. This. Is. Ridiculous. PLEASE! Update and ADDITIONAL three weeks later: just downloaded an “update” and the app is still a giant failure. I’ve officially cancelled my account and moved to Cozi, which is reliably working AND half the price. HUB is a huge waste of time and money. It’s Insulting that you also make it impossible to contact app support and clearly don’t care at all that this app is no longer functional. BYE.
