Horrible app Not user friendly Takes forever to log on Would like to stop using once I pay off balance

This app is SO shoddy, I’m researching banks to make a switch. HSBC has vast resources so if they have the carelessness to write such a buggy app, what other mistakes are they making with our money and accounts? This is just basic stuff too, like keyboards not triggering for password inputs. How do you screw that up on a major release? And how is that a problem measured in weeks. Anyone banking with hsbc should be absolutely horrified an allegedly respected financial institution who deem their customers so expendable as to release such a buggy application with their logo attached.

Can’t even log on - the strangest, most awkward authenticator, I punch in my password and get a black bar instead of my code - why don’t u just work w the industry standard text message to verify. This app is abysmal

Good, helpful app. Is there room for improvement? Plenty. But, it’s enough to follow and manage your finances from the comfort of, well wherever you are.

How hard can it be? This app has been absolute rubbish for years and update after update HSBC fails to make improvement. I also bank with other banks and their APPs and website work. HSBC not at all. It clear HSBC absolutely gives zero about the consumer base.

You can't set up any kind of SMS text notification alerts regarding transactions on your account. All other mobile banking apps let you set up multiple types of alerts but HSBC doesn't even have ONE. You can't monitor any activity unless you log into your account. So inconvenient and outdated.

This is the worst app of all 50 I have on my phone. Virtually useless. HSBC as a whole has a horrible stack of tech. Step it up.
