Challenges are excellent. Everything worked wonderfully. Well worth the price.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I've played this game on my Kendal and it was wonderful so purchasing it for my iPad was a no brainer but from the start it's been horrible from taking me 2 days to get it downloaded to repeatedly having issues with freezing and glitches in individual puzzles.

Not my game

If I would have known that the game is not so good,I would have not bought it. It has no map and the story is dumb ? I would be happy if you come out with a fairy tale story. Until then I will not buy a game

What happened? FIVE-BN GAMES IS SUPERIOR OVER BF!

I loved this series until now! What happened? I don't think this is the same game developer that brought us the first 3 in this series as it looks and feels soooo different! I have to say I'm extremely let down here. Not sure where to start even. Graphics are ok just not as good as the previous, ho scenes are awful with no descriptions on the interactive scenes and no labels on some objects, crashed several times, game was shaky as though it was going to crash any minute thru allot of it. You took a fantastic series and just destroyed it! And where are the previous games in this series I purchased and was told I'd own forever? I can only load one of them and your people told me the other 2 were no longer available on iPad? I paid for them!! All your games say pay once play forever! Not true! I've discovered numerous titles I no longer can play even though I bought them! What happened to you BF? I'm quickly loosing faith! Folks do yourselves a favor and check out FIVE-BN GAMES! Their games will blow your mind!

Knock! Knock! Evil Inside!

How did the developers know that I was just wishing for another installment of House of 1000 Doors? I have enjoyed every one of them so far, and this Alawar game is no exception! A huge purple meteor has crashed into Earth, changing everything it touched into something mean. However, you contain power in your hands to reverse the evil. You must trace a pattern over each object until it is "cleansed." Very easy to accomplish. The Extras portion says there are Collectibles here, and, apparently I have found some. However, I am not sure what they are unless they are the mean little faces with teeth. The Hint, Skip, and Map portions work well. Like other Thousand Doors games, each door is a portal to another location. In the beginning, the music threatened to drown the speeches by characters;however, that might be due to my controls. Also the characters look more like Sims than real people. That did not spoil the game for me, however. Usually, these Thousand Doors games are quite long, so I am expecting that here. Well worth the price, in my estimation. Who knows what lurks through the next door?

1000 doors, 1000 chores

Normally I adore this series and was so excited to see a new installment I snapped it up! Unfortunately this particular one felt more like work than a game. I literally had to force myself to finish it. Every bleeping scene you have to trace a pattern to kill the virus or some other obnoxious task to complete before you can play. Even the HOG were tedious and difficult. Headaches galore. I started the bonus game but 5 scenes in I just couldn't take it anymore. You shouldn't have to do basically a mini game before you play a scene - every scene. Do yourself a favor and play one of the older 1000 doors you will be happier and less frustrated.

Bug
BWIL1

This game has a bug preventing me from continuing. In robot city ,trying to retrieve the pickaxe for the miner, the game stops working. The map and hint button also stops functioning. I don't recommend this game until they fix the bug.

Too much creepy lately

Got anything like some Match 3 Games or Pic Cross, NonGrams? Need to mix it up abit, at least once in awhile. Feel like you need to go to Confession after playing. ?

I'm Keeping the Doors Wide Open! Next Door: 1001!

I would like to remind players that Alawar and Artifex Mundi have new games out. Get them now before the sale prices expire! See my Grim Tales review for the titles. Also, G5 has a new one out entitled, "Deep Town: The Twin Candles"; but unfortunately, I had a fatal flaw so I won't be purchasing it. I left a review for your convenience. If interested, get it on sale now because they only offer the sale price for a few days. Review: THERE IS A MAP! It is the "side view" compass symbol in the lower left hand corner. The graphics are pretty using many shades of bright, vibrant colors. They sometimes appear slightly faded or washed out in the scenes; however, in the close-ups, they are more sharp and clear. The artwork portrays a threatening, ominous environment with menacing vines slithering around you at every corner. The story has a sci-fi vibe where you have special powers; and you travel through different portals to alternate realities to interact with or fight off robotic, mechanical creatures with human-like gestures. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. I found the use of inventory to be slow and cumbersome whereas it jumps up and then slowly lowers back to the bar if you chose the incorrect item. You must hold your finger down to view the label. The teleport map will indicate objectives in custom mode. You are given a well detailed, thorough journal to record story progression as well as clues to solve puzzles. The HOS include my favorite type: Find and Use; you also put parts together to complete a whole. I found that in the "find and use" scenes, inventory was not labeled. The puzzles are varied and on the simple side. You are collecting something, and I can't figure out what it is; the item flashes by to a tiny face symbol on the right side. They might be bats. Overall, I experienced no glitches and had smooth transition so far. I have not seen any critters as well. Fun Game!

What a mess!

A difficult storyline to follow. Jumping around from scene to scene without a map made it hard to understand a scene. I have never been so lost in a game . I probably wore out the hint button. This game was not fun- sorry I spent the money!
