Waste of time!

I own a 2016 Honda CRV and have downloaded this app periodically to see if it actually does anything for my vehicle. It still doesn’t. Deleted again.

Honda favors certain models over others

I have a 2018 Honda Civic Coupe that is only 10 months old. The wonderful app features like remote start or viewing tire pressure are only available to Honda’s favorite models like the Accord. I called and they told me my civic coupe (touring model) cannot access anything more than the oil life, odometer, and range. That’s it. This is my second Honda car but I’m done after this. Being able to check your tire pressures through an app or at the very least, through your car, is a safety feature that other dealerships have in models as early as 2015. Get with the program, Honda. For a dealership that prices themselves on all their safety features, this is bull.

Zero stars - It doesn’t work

This app is so annoying and frustrating. I am aware that there are only a few features available for my model car, a 2018 CR-V EX-L, but it would be nice if they worked. When I first got the car, they all worked most of the time: miles to empty, mileage, oil life, parked location and a time stamp. After the first update they removed the parked location and time stamp features. (those were kind of useful), and the other features worked only sporadically. After another update, the remaining features don’t work at all. They just don’t update the information. If I delete the app and reinstall it, it works one time—then nothing again. While it’s not a big loss for me because the remaining information the app would give me is readily available on my dashboard, I’ve heard that for some people, they used to be able to start their car from the app (a feature I really wanted), then Honda removed that feature from their car!!! I’d be REALLY annoyed if that happened. How could a company like Honda put their name on something SO BAD??? They need to tell their sales people to stop promoting this. I have had 4 Hondas and I probably will never buy another one.

Not inclusive / Disappointing app

eff tha

I do not understand why an app is created for a vehicle that has a so called HondaLink option if all the “new upgrades/enhancements“ that were made to it are ONLY available to 2018+ select models. The new features do make this an appealing app but if it’s not inclusive to 2017 Honda Civic Ex then why bother with it. 1 year too late for my car I guess. Will be deleting as it has nothing more to offer than what I could do prior to installing this app. Disappointing app from this vehicle giant. Useless app would not recommend this garbage!

I tried..

So basically what I’m getting from the reviews is that if you don’t have a 2018 model honda this app is useless... honestly had a lot of hope for Honda and this app to make things easier but it seems like it’s all about the money as usual.. it’s disappointing really since I’ve always liked Honda but cmon these features should be pretty easy to fix or add on.

Need a lawyer for terms and conditions

Really I need to read all this crap. Why is it so complex. The app hardly does anything.

Completely useless

Guyhhhh

App never has worked. Doesn’t track any information and constantly crashes.

This could be so much greater -

I have the 2019 Honda Insight EX and this app is so - whack. What is the actual point of this app? I am desperately trying to figure out the exact purpose of this app. Honestly, what I would like to be able to do is ‘start’ my car from this app or control my temperature or something of that nature. As what I have seen that others are able to do with their vehicle(s) from the app; i.e., Chevrolet, Toyota, Ford, and the list goes on.This is likely something someone said let’s do this since everyone else is in the app business, that is simply my assumption because of how poorly the app is built. I’ve seen a coworker remote start his car from his cellular device while sitting at his desk (Chevrolet). I work within the IT world and this simply baffles me that this app is less than - basic.

Useless!

Works for a day, then drops and then you have to delete and re-install the app to get it working again. Utter garbage.
